Cottage holiday rentals in North Kawartha

My sister did a last min booking an hour before we arrived and Jess was super accommodating! everything was lovely and it was exactly what we needed for a little wellness getaway! we even extended our stay another night because we were soo relaxed and happy with the place and location! I highly reccomend staying here.

Jason’s place is perfect! A great clean home with everything you need. Large property right on the water. Gazebos, hot tub, large deck with water view. We had a fabulous week!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

What a gorgeous cottage with a breathtaking outdoor space! The perfect getaway with everything we could need! We loved the proximity to boutique shopping in Bobcaygeon and Lakefield, reading on the deck, the coffee nook and dining room for meals overlooking the lake and watching the sunrise from the hottub each morning. We were especially grateful to have been able to get away to such a clean, peaceful spot with our golden retrievers in tow :)

We stayed at this lovely friends cottage for one night during our trip to Hamilton and had a wonderful experience. The home is cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and ideal for relaxing, and the communication with the host was clear and friendly throughout the process. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would gladly recommend this place to others. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful 10-night stay! The house is even better than how it seems in the pictures. Right on the lake, with a wall of large windows facing the lake directly. Washroom has a big bathtub and another large window facing the lake. The balcony and dock are right outside. The house is very well-stocked, and has a fully functional kitchen (good enough for actually living there). Bryan and Pam were quickly responsive and kind, and also generously accommodated an extra request of ours. Neighbors are close, but the windows facing them have curtains, and it feels private. We can't wait to come again!

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at York Riverscape. The cottage was well stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved not having to bring our own bedding and towels. The kids had a blast with the foosball table: Julie and Roger were responsive hosts and their cottage was exactly as described. We plan to return in the future.

Adam's place was perfect! Adam was clear, communicative and readily available to answer any questionsthat we had. The cabin was easy to find and enter. As we stepped into the cabin, the fireplace was burning and the home felt super cozy and warm. It was super child friendly! My 7 year old loved wandering around the property, helping with the fire and enjoying the hammock in the back. Burk's Falls is only an 11 minute drive where you can find a bakery, several restaurants and the coolest antique store I've ever visited. The outdoor sauna was a great experience and you can see all the stars at night. Nightly campfires was a must! Highly recommend. Would love to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay. More beautiful than the pictures. Caroline was very responsive. She offered us early check-in and accepted to check out at 11am instead of 10am. can't wait to go back in summer.

Jesse was amazing throughout the whole trip! Prior to the stay, he was very responsive and informative. During our stay, he was always one message away whenever we needed him for something. He also went above and beyond by checking up on us to ensure that we were having a great time. The waterfront cottage was also amazing! The place was extremely beautiful and cozy. The cottage was very clean and it was very spacious. The backyard deck was large with an easily accessible fireplace and hot tub. This cottage also had canoes, kayaks, and lots of board games, which kept us very busy and entertained at all times! Basically, anything you would want or expect from a cottage during the warm seasons was available at this cottage! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun getaway! I would also definitely come back!

Had an amazing experience with the property. They took care of the tiniest details to give us all the comfort possible. Lots of board games, snorkeling equipment, extra linens, towels, super clean home. It just made our weekend an amazing one. Definitely chooding the property again. The place is truly amazing and so peaceful! The checkin was super easy and Amanda was very proactive in communicating. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be recommending the place to our friends! We hope to be back in the future! Thanks so much for a great couple days!

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Our cottage stay was the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. From kayaking on the nearby lake, hiking scenic trails, to late-night board games and bonfires under the stars, every day was packed with activities we loved. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and fully stocked, making it easy to unwind after an active day. It was a well-spent getaway full of memories. we can’t wait to go back! Thomas and Tom were very accommodating hosts.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

Erika and Adam's place had great amenities and everything we needed for a weekend stay. The communication was easy, the place was clean and plenty of outdoor space for our group. This will be a spot we hope to repeat sometime.

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

Cottage was beautiful and exactly as described. Laura was helpful and flexible with move-in and move out, which was wonderful. Clean and comfortable, it's perfect for the Toronto getaway. A lot of great family photos against that pristine white background. I recommend you take some pictures😎
