Julie’s place was absolutely spotless and provided a safe, comfortable haven for our Christmas stay. The location was wonderfully quiet and perfectly dark at night, ensuring a peaceful rest. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight, featuring delicious tropical fruits. This is the best BnB I have stayed in due to its exceptional cleanliness and the host’s effective communication. Highly recommend staying here!

I had a great time staying at Zoltan’s place near Alma Bay! It’s in the perfect location - just a short walk to the beach and close to the bus stop, which made exploring the island super easy. The place has everything you need to relax, including the basics for simple cooking, plus extras like snorkelling gear, stinger suits, and freshly ground coffee. Zoltan was kind and welcoming, sharing great local tips and going out of his way to make my stay easy - he kindly offered early check-in, late check-out and even gave me a lift to the ferry. It’s a fantastic option for solo travellers or anyone on a budget. I would definitely stay again!

If you get the opportunity to visit and looking for a home away from home Julie’s home is the place to be. 5 minutes to the beach through her small but beautiful rainforest at the back of her home. The sounds of the waves are amazing hearing them roll in and hit the beach can be felt throughout the home. Was a lovely place to unwind and relax. Enjoyable by all the family including our teenagers.

Jean's place really is right on the edge of the rainforest. You can hear and see the birds and animals, but we didn't see any animals from the apartment. But the tree kangaroos are around - we saw one in the middle of the Kennedy Highway not far from Ravenshoe. Jean is a great host. The apartment is under her house, it's small but is well designed and feels spacious and private. It's well equipped for cooking but the Ravenshoe pub is also only 10 minutes away. Perfect for a few days away for a couple. Lots of great walks and waterfalls in the region too.

Stylish queenslander sourrounded by lush vegetation in the hearth of the city, Delightfull. Rob is a great host, friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitly a place stay.

Nate was awesome. Both himself and Himali take great pride in what they have on the island. They own a few of the eateries around the island so they know what people need and want. We are used to being a bit fancier with accomodation in these getaways but we wanted to keep it reasonable as we knew we’d be out exploring the island. You can’t really beat value for money here. You’d be hard pressed to find a dorm bed in a backpackers for the price we paid for this double room with kitchen and bathroom. Nice least outlook quaint and cute!

The studio unit was a great place for a short stay in the Ravenshoe area. The unit itself is compact but very functional and has what you need. The bed was very comfy. Outside we loved watching the birds and wallabies and truly enjoyed the outdoor fire ring. Maia was a great host and very helpful.

Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful and quiet area. Unit was very clean and tidy. Definitely, home away from home. Host made us feel welcome with instructions easy to follow. We really did not want to leave in the end.

Nothing was too much trouble. When we asked for things they were provided. Streaming tv and wifi was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. Lovely hosts.

I had a lovely stay at Pam and Tim’s place. It is located just a short walk to the shops and the beach and backs onto forest. I loved listening to the birds in the evening and mornings and there was often a little rock wallaby outside my window.

Nikki’s place was great, so spacious and private. Nikki was very accommodating with allowing us to have a new born baby there and also plenty of room for a portacot. Also beautiful surrounds of the lake only 2mins walking distance. A wonderful place to stay.

Our stay in Townsville was excellent. The accommodation was exactly as described. We were walking distance to everything we needed. Maureen was very helpful with recommendations on where to eat and things to do. The accommodation itself was perfect. It was ideal for our group of three. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. It is in a nice quiet location, and the outdoor area was superb. The pool looked very inviting but we just ran out of time to utilize it. We will definitely be back to Townsville in the future and hope this will be available for our next visit.

We hebben een heerlijke paar dagen gehad bij Monica en Landis. We werden hartelijk ontvangen. Onze kinderen mochten zelfs kamperen in de tuin, in de tent die hij meteen opzette. Het is een fijne lokatie om the Tablelands te ontdekken. De omgeving is prachtig. Het dorpje zelf is heel klein met weinig faciliteiten dus houd daar rekening mee. Wij vonden dit juist leuk. Wij zouden terugkomen!

A homely stay. Welcoming, warm and interesting hosts who included us as part of the family. Great location close to two major shopping centre and about 20 mins drive to city centre and Strand. Highly recommended.

La villa est en tout point conforme au descriptif. Elle est isolée de la maison de Nick ce qui procure toute la discrétion nécessaire. Le spa est un plus, ainsi que la terrasse avec son barbecue, son relax etc… Nick est un hôte très prévenant, très discret et très serviable. Un grand merci pour être venu nous chercher le soir et nous ramener au ferry. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Love Love Love This was a gorgeous getaway, peaceful and private. Although it was rainy and windy the whole visit we didn’t mind. The outlook is beautiful, the home rustic, and comfortable. It was a great place to unwind and get grounded. (We made rule, no TV) The addition of the heated spa was the perfect solution to cold, raining days. We painted, jigsaws, games, cards and read. We will be back.
