The place was in tidy condition and found everything you need. The high chair available when traveling with a child was a plus. Communication was quick and easy. I would definitely stay again.

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Very nice cottage in the woods and right on the lake, Arja is a very friendly hostess! We liked the sauna right on the lake best. Overall, we were able to experience a wonderful, unforgettable time in the Mökki and can only recommend the accommodation

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We filled our day with sauna, swimming in the lake and cooking in the nice outdoor kitchen. There are some chores, such as replenishing water, but we enjoyed doing that. The bed is lovely and there is everything else you need. Charging phones went fine (if you would at least want that;))

We spent a weekend at Sanna’s place and it served our family of five well. Very calm and peaceful place right by the lake. Cabin is well equipped and functioning.

It's a great place! Even more amazing than the photos of the apartment suggested. Fully luxurious with its facilities and scenery. The air was too warm for us, to try the sauna and smoke sauna, but we don't doubt their splendor for a moment. Communication between the owners was quick and informative. We've been in airbnb apartments in five different countries about nine times, and this place goes to the top. For foreigners, if you want the perfect Finnish experience, look no further. This is perfect.

Nice and clean cottage on the river of a lake, with a beautiful view from the porch. Everything was great, nice spots for swimming nearby. I would just suggest to improve the instructions for the waste sorting in English.

The place was very easy to find. The location is gorgeous. You have your peace and quiet, but Kuopio is not that far. You can get to the city quickly. The house is fantastic. Located right on the lake, large, clean, perfectly equipped. It makes you feel right at home. Sirpa was always happy to help with questions and responded quickly. All in all, I highly recommend it.

A cabin in a quiet lakeside location. The house has absolutely everything you need for life. There is a sauna near the house. There is a boat and you can fish. The nearest town and supermarkets are a 12-minute drive away. At first the host didn't respond to messages and we were a little worried. But in 24 hours, she sent check-in instructions. The instructions are a little unclear and lacks the coordinates of the house. Maybe if she was in English it would be better because the translation from Finnish is not perfect. If you are coming from the south, the gps takes you to a dead end to a closed barrier. It can be opened, or you can drive in from the turn that is to the north. Please note, the listing says that cleaning is not included in the price, but the cost is not included. It turned out that you need to pay extra for cleaning another 120 euros!!! We left the house in perfect condition, not clear why such a high price. Overall, I liked everything.

Sirikka hosted us very well, she wanted to come shake our hand and show us around the accommodation properly. Accompanied by her son who also welcomed us. The clean accommodation was well heated, beds made and clean and special touches for breakfast etc. It's a great place to stay for the journey.

Mauno’s place was idyllic. Just as the photos and description but even better in our opinion. The Mökki is directly by the lake with swimming from the jetty or the small beach. The Sauna was lovely, with a view of the lake. Beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need. We picked berries in the forest close by. Perfect for families. It’s been our children’s favourite holiday. Mauno and his wife made us feel very welcome when we arrived and really respect your privacy. We would love to come back one day.

It was an awesome jump into the new year! We had 5 beautiful days in an wonderful cottage, surrounded by 100% Nature and 0% stress.
