We had a wonderful stay at the Hogglet. Ideal for a getaway, easy walk into Warkworth and to the beach and perfect location for a drive up the coast. Beautiful part of the world!

Great base to explore if you want to explore Amble, Alnwick, Alnmouth, Warkworth all within 10-30 minutes of this place. Great place if your working in those areas as well as I was but will consider this place if I am wanting to stay up this way again although I tend to travel further north but the areas I generally like to go are only approximately an hour from this location. The cottage itself has ample parking for vans as well as larger SUVs Broadband is slower than I usually am used to but adequate for most daily uses and streaming services tended to buffer at night but I just used my Hotspot to overcome this. The house itself is very quite and peaceful and private parking was especially appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Hauxley Retreat. The house is situated on a quiet estate, very close to Morrisons supermarket. It was spotless and well equipped. There was a welcome pack provided which was a lovely gesture, lots of information- places to visit, menus etc and an added bonus of a hot tub. Well worth a visit.

Excellent stay, had a fabulous time. The cottage was finished to a very high standard with lots a fantastic little touches. Host went above and beyond. Hope to stay again!
