Compact 1 (queen) bed/1 bath basement studio apartment (500sq ft with 7'8" ceilings) in the heart of the Brookland neighborhood. The studio is in the basement of a historic 1923 row home, located near several restaurants, bars, recreation areas and shopping. Ten-minute walk to Rhode Island Metro Station, close to Union Market, Union Station and 20 minutes to DC monuments. The apartment has many amenities including fast internet, full kitchen and plenty of closet space.

Most walkable + safe residential locations in DC: one block from the W.E. Convention Center, less than 10 10-minute walk to the Cap. Arena, and a 20-minute walk to the National Mall with its lovely Smithsonian Museums, White House, Chinatown, with some of the city's best dining and nightlife a stone's throw away. Just 2.5 blocks to the NoMa Metro and Union Market, a short walk to Union Station, the Capitol and National Mall. The apartment is surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and shops all within a 5 minute walk. This studio apartment has a ground level walkout entrance and access to a shared roof deck, full private kitchen, laundry, queen bed and fold out couch, private entry/bathroom. A bifold door opens out to the back garden.

Top floor Capitol Hill apartment

Top floor apartment in a traditional 130+ y/o townhouse conversion. There are 2 full flights of stairs to enter the unit--we only recommend this space for those with healthy knees that do not travel with large suitcases. The altitude of the home means extra light, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and beautiful Capitol views several months of the year!
