We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls, hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most rooms have gated private patios however, 15, 16 and 17 share a larger outdoor courtyard. We cannot guarantee a specific room or layout for Airbnb guests. Our patio rooms are available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee, + guest robes. Each room is unique + all are fantastic!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

Route 66 - Bobcat Inn

Get your kicks in our Route 66 room! Many people don't realize the road we're on is Old Las Vegas Highway, which is part of the Old Route 66. While the original "Mother Road" no longer exists, you can take a stroll down memory lane in our newly renovated road themed room which has its own parking and is just up the stairway and on the left side of the Bobdog Bungalow, which is a separate 2 room Casita on the Bobcat Inn property. The Route 66 room is dog friendly ($25/dog/night fee applies).

The design is Paris meets Santa Fe, and the reviews are in. People are in love with the ‘Juliette’ which features a full kitchen and living room, fully tiled bathroom and elegant French doors leading into the bedroom. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens. The large bathrooms feature detailed tile adding a luxurious touch as well.

Largest unit at the Alpine Lodge that can sleep up to 12 people. 4 bedrooms (one is semiprivate). Each bedroom has a queen bed. This room has a large kitchen, dining, and living area with two futons making this room perfect for larger parties. No Trailer Parking: Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading vehicles. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas.
