Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Norway

The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! The house is, if anything, even nicer than the photos suggest. It’s spacious, in excellent condition and had everything we needed, feeling like a cosy home away from home. It’s in a quiet area, a short drive from the city centre and other attractions. Pauliina was an excellent host. She met us on arrival and reached out with helpful advice. We highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to come back one day.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt in Kiruna. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe mit Kindern; jeder hatte genug Platz und das Haus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.

Jag hade en bra vistelse, huset var fräscht och hemtrevligt i ett lugnt område. Det var lätt att hitta dit och allting fungerade smidigt, trevlig värd som var lätt att kommunicera med. Jag återkommer gärna igen, rekommenderas varmt!

Vi kom som familie og følte oss som hjemme! Vi kom for å stå på ski og vi hadde 2 fine dager i bakken. Vi koste oss med sauna og hjemmelaget mat. Tusen takk for oss, det var en flott tur!

Super sejour avec Sinnika et Jamme, ultra accueillants, qui ont nous ont fait bénéficier de précieux conseils. Très belles et chaleureuse sortie avec Jamme pour chasser les autores boréales avec feu de camp et nourriture typique finlandaise. Le sauna était d'un grand réconfort avec les journées passées dans le grand froid extérieur.

Casa davvero molto bella e accogliente. Tutto corrispondeva alla descrizione e ognuno di noi ha potuto godere dei propri spazi con tranquillità. Consigliato!

Siisti huoneisto, hyvä sijainti ja hyvä autopaikka. Voin tulla uudelleen. Huoneisto oli rauhallinen.

Vennlig og rask til å kommunisere. Veldig behjelpelig med små og store utfordringer. Anbefales!!!

Un lugar muy tranquilo, limpio y ordenado. Un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, sin embargo, casi al lado de la parada del bus.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend oben auf dem Berg. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Auf der anderen Straßenseite hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Stadt, am letzten Abend haben wir von dort die Polarlichter über dem Haus, der Stadt und dem Storsteinen beobachtet, wirklich sehr schön. Für Skifahrer (Langlauf) ist die Gegend perfekt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich mehrere beleuchtete Loipen (z.B. Charlottenlund oder Prestvatnet). Auch der Tromsø Alpinpark hat mir gut gefallen. Es sind sehr nette Gastgeber, ich musste gar keine Fragen stellen, da alles vorher schon über die Airbnb App beantwortet wurde (Code für die Schlüsselbox, WLAN, Mülltrennung, Zugang zur Wohnung, ...). Da es nicht mein erster Aufenthalt in Tromsø war, war ich nicht auf Ausflugstipps angewiesen, es liegen aber mehrere Broschüren hierfür im Regal. Mit dem Bus ist man in rund 10 Minuten unten in der Stadt. Die Umgebung (generell Nord-Norwegen) ist wunderschön.

Very responsive friendly host. Allowed us late check out which was ideal and convenient for our flight. Svipper bus service easy and excellent. Joker convenience shop late opening was a huge bonus for late arrival to get tea coffee and milk :)

Clean and convenient apartment which has been well taken care of. Located right opposite a mall with a major supermarket. Silja is a great host. Communications with her were prompt and friendly.

Majoituimme lapsen ja vauvan kanssa neljä yötä tässä kohteessa. Sijainti Hupisaarten leikkipuiston vieressä ja lähellä Oulun keskustaa oli loistava! Talo oli silti rauhallinen ja asunto hiljainen. Lisäksi asunto oli erittäin hyvin varusteltu – ei mitään ylimääräistä, mutta silti kaikki tarvittava lapsiperheelle. Induktioliedellä sai valmistettua uskomattoman herkullista ruokaa ja makuuhuoneessa saivat kaikki oikein hyvät unet. Yhteydenpito majoittajan kanssa oli sujuvaa ja avuliasta. Tänne tulemme mielellämme uudestaankin!

Sebastian's place is fantastic. It is in a great location for skiing and ice climbing (in our case) and I'm sure for hiking, etc. The place is clean, well set-up, and he is very responsive. It was only two of us but it would be plenty comfortable for 6.

We had an amazing stay, Lasse was very responsive and helpful with his communication, location of the place was also great! He even let us dropped our Stuff before Check In time which was very helpful Would definitely recommend

Was für eine schöne Unterkunft. Die Lage auf Håkøya ist sehr friedlich und doch sehr nah vom Zentrum. Die Aussicht aus der Wohnung auf das Meer und Tromsø ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr grosszügig. Die Küche hat alles, was man benötigt. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Karstein und Ida Marie sind sehr freundlich, äusserst hilfsbereit und sehr gute Gastgeber. Danke für die Unterstützung. Ich kann die Unterkunft bestens empfehlen.

Perfect location! 5 minutes walk to bus stop and gondola and village centre with supermarket, tourist information and shops. Easy shuttle bus from airport. Recommend wild food restaurant on ground floor. Ski hire on ground floor and also at gondola. Ski locker rooms and lifts. Nice view from balcony to wooded area and village. Lovely apartment with private sauna and lots of storage. We traveled with a 9 year old and 1 year old who tried skiing for first time at Ruka family park at the top of the gondola. Also cross country ski tracks next to apartment and ski hire. Everything was just so easy and accessible for us. We had the best time! Alex and was really helpful with our arrival and quickly helped with WiFi. Perfect family holiday for us!

Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Iris hat schnell geantwortet und war sehr freundlich! Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, aber ich würde die Unterkunft definitiv für längere Aufenthalte empfehlen! :)

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit einem schönen Ausblick in den Garten, direkt vom Bett. Ruhige Umgebung aber etwas hellhörig in der Wohnung selbst. Gute Anbindung um mit dem Bus innerhalb von 10-15 min. in das Zentrum zu kommen.

Sigve var den perfekte verten for våres opphold i Honningsvåg. Beliggenheten på leiligheten var unik og uvant for oss som ikke er vant til nord Norge. Trenger ikke tv når man har det nydelige «bildet» fra stua vinduene. Her kan du se på båter, fugler, fjellene og været som hyppig skifter. En fint bosted som vi gjerne skulle besøkt igjen. Takk for oss.
