Our cabin sits in a quiet cedar grove by a fishing pond with kayaks and fishing poles available. 2 bedrooms with full kitchen with coffee maker, washer and dryer, fireplace, internet, TV and 2 porches with patio furniture and large umbrellas. Electric and gas grills available with outdoor sink for cleaning fish. Attached to hobby farm with goats, ducks, geese, and chickens. More than 50 acres available to roam with 4 ponds. This comfortable boutique style studio cottage sits by itself and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay in a peaceful, convenient country setting.

History is just down the street with notable buildings including the Mary Wills library (complete with Tiffany windows), the Robert Toombs House, the Washington Historical Museum and the Kettle Creek battlefield. Just a short drive from Athens or Augusta if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay after a game or making your way to the Master’s tournament.

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.
