Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand jetty! Bua is a pleasant little cabin located at Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. It's quiet and peaceful here, and at the same time you get a taste of boating life. Bua is located next to the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are on holiday in their boats. There are bathing facilities on site with bathing steps at the end of the jetty. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. Nydelig utsikt over sundet både ute og inne, gode solforhold og fantastiske solnedganger. (ingen solgaranti selv på solkysten;) Bademuligheter finnes to minutts gange fra huset, og ellers er det flere fine strender i nærheten. Dette er et hyggelig sted med masse sjarm og god atmosfære med alle muligheter for å skape gode ferieminner.

Vestfold Golf Club and Oslofjord Convention Center are nearby. In winter, the road is not ploughed all the way to the cabin. Snow shovel provided. The cabin is dedicated to guests, and is not used in private.

You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.
