You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it is a season when you can enjoy a quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or more. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips and long-term stays.With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it is also comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transport, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free transfers are available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for 2,000–8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for journeys within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult with us in advance as we can arrange car rental. There are still vacancies on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the second half of the summer holidays, as well as for couples and small groups.

The interior is compact but calm, with the warmth of wood, and from the window you can enjoy the changing faces of the forest through the seasons. It offers a luxurious experience of waking up in the morning to the light of the mountains and gazing at the star-filled sky at night. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry activities, hiking and forest walks, and is recommended for couples or partners looking for a stay in harmony with nature. It is also in the centre of Hakuba Village, so please spend a special time just for yourself in the tranquillity of the Northern Alps. We can also pick you up from Nagano Station. Please let us know if you would like this. We will provide seamless service without you having to wait in line for a bus. You can use it as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. During the day, there is a cool breeze and the temperature is around 20°C, so it may be a good idea to have something to wear in the morning and evening.

This guest house is a renovated 120-year-old private house located in the traditional streets of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture (Yamamachi Suji).Located approximately a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, the property also offers excellent transport links to Toyama, Kanazawa, the Amahara Kaigan Coast, Himi, Tonami and Jozan.If you have a car, you can easily get to Noto, the World Heritage Site of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe-Tateyama Alpine Route, and the sights of Takayama. It can be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, not only in Yamamachisuji, but also in the foundry town of Kanayamachi (10 minutes on foot), Takaoka Daibutsu (10 minutes on foot), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15 minutes on foot), and the national treasure Zuiyuji Temple (25 minutes on foot). This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
