The traditional wooden building, finished without a single nail, was completed by a renowned architect and a master carpenter. It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship. The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater for group trips, family holidays, and multi-night to long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay even for consecutive nights. While you can get here by public transport, it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are travelling by train, there may not be a taxi available at the station, so we recommend planning your transport in advance. Free transfers are available from Akashina Station and Shinanomatsukawa Station.We can arrange paid transfers to Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, the Sawando Bus Terminal, and other locations upon request.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
