Located directly on the nature reserve lake, in an outskirts location with a large property, our vacation home offers the right ambience to relax. Completed by my father and I only in 2024, our guests can expect a tastefully decorated, new cottage overlooking the lake. The terrace offers the opportunity to spend a warm summer evening outdoors. It's nice and cool in the shade of the big trees. The historic brick wall and cozy fireplace in the living room complete the ambience.

Large cozy apartment not far from Brandenstein Castle

NEWS: New, completely renovated kitchen from Dec. 2025 INFO: Charger for electric cars (extra fee) PRICES: 1st person €36; each additional person €26 per day. My apartment (about 100 sqm) is cozy and has a wonderful view of the greenery. It is located in a district of the city of Schlüchtern, near the Burg Brandenstein. From here, there are a variety of hiking trails in the surrounding area and beyond. TIP: The apartment is an ideal starting point for geocachers.

We rent a beautiful 2-room apartment with kitchen and bathroom in the city centre of Waechtersbach. The attic apartment was renovated a few years ago and impresses with a harmonious juxtaposition of old wooden beams and modern design with deep windows and views of the countryside. The castle garden with the restored castle is opposite. The train connection is excellent (every 30 minutes to Frankfurt). Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Plenty of room in the apartment. The bathroom is equipped with shower and bathtub and very large. Here you can relax your soul, experience relaxing days in harmony with a wonderful nature. You can make full use of all rooms with kitchen and bathroom. Nearby you will find great hiking trails, reservoirs, Europe's largest extinct volcano and even a swimming pool nearby on foot. A thermal bath with salt cave is 13 km away (Bad Salzhausen).

Our beautiful apartment is located in a half-timbered house from 1749 in a quiet location in the Vogelsberg. The apartment offers up to 6 sleeping accommodations (2x double beds, 2x single beds) and is equipped with a spacious combined kitchen/living room. The property with a stream, pond and horse paddock invites you to linger. A patio with outdoor dining area can also be used by our guests. Dogs are also very welcome here.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
