Salztalranch

Our beautiful apartment is located in a half-timbered house from 1749 in a quiet location in the Vogelsberg. The apartment offers up to 6 sleeping accommodations (2x double beds, 2x single beds) and is equipped with a spacious combined kitchen/living room. The property with a stream, pond and horse paddock invites you to linger. A patio with outdoor dining area can also be used by our guests. Dogs are also very welcome here.

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside there is a 7x4 m terrace with awning, an 8.5x4 m heated pool with sliding roof, a jacuzzi and a large outdoor sauna. A 6 x 6 m garage with wallbox is also available.

More than 20 years ago we bought the Scheiche House, a detached house in the beautiful Vogelsberg volcanic region. Formerly, the farmhouse consisted of a residential house, a stable and the barn. We have both worked in tourism and long run a holiday village. When we retired, we decided it was impossible without guests! We have always dreamed of renovating the old barn of our house – and now it was the right time.
