Built in 1907, this is a small, two-story, wooden, hipped-roof, tiled-roof, two-and-a-half-bay, four-bay Kyomachi-style house. It has been renovated as a guest house, but the townhouse prototype has been relatively preserved. The first floor exterior has a wooden glass sliding door, a steel plate wainscoting next to the door, and a flat lattice and a sliding door opening, and the second floor exterior has two aluminum sash openings and a wooden sliding door. The outer walls are plastered, and the second floor beams are joined in the middle, so it can be assumed from the 1951 map that there was originally a longhouse building with the same building on the west side. A small wooden two-story gabled flat tile roofed Kyomachiya built in 1907, with a 2.5-meter frontage and a 4-meter depth. Relax and unwind in a peaceful place to stay.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
