At the same time, you can just relax and listen to and feel the tranquillity in a quiet and beautiful place. Here you can see the northern lights in the sky on fine dark autumn and winter evenings. In summer you can enjoy the midnight sun and watch the sun set into the sea. The nearest shop is 10 km away.

Welcome to our cabin at Smines in Vesterålen! Only 25 minutes away from Sortland and 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store in Eidfjorden. Idyllic, secluded cabin by the lake with its own floating jetty and rowing boat. All fishing equipment and life jackets are on site! The boat will not be available from October to April! Enjoy the beautiful nature that Vesterålen has to offer with hiking opportunities in the area, and dancing northern lights in autumn/winter. Keep an eye out for the wild animals that roam around, such as moose, otters, eagles, hares and puffins!

The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 1950s style with modern amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen, fast wireless internet and comfortable beds. Farmorhuset is best suited for up to 5 guests, but can accommodate 6 by using an extra mattress in one of the bedrooms. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.
