As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

Beautiful Traditional House - はなれ

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also a unique cultural experience. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The first/ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with 2 tatami sleeping rooms. Your sleeping room has an air conditioner. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can shop for local foods and prepare it all in your own kitchen.

Guest-House-Suginoko（Chartered one building）

A 150-year-old traditional Japanese inn for private use. Enjoy local cuisine made with plenty of yuzu juice by the 88-year-old proprietress Emi-chan, as well as a traditional hearth and Goemon bath. ･Sushi made with yuzu juice. ･Buckwheat soup, a representative local dish of Tokushima, etc. *A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. *No WiFi/internet access At an altitude of 650m, it is cool all year round, and you can enjoy waterfalls.

The observatory where the view of Kuma is seen. There is naturalness at 10 minutes at the abundant place by car from the center of Kuma.(It's possible to welcome and send off.) Barbecue is possible outside while seeing the night view and a starry sky in the evening. (Meal and the ingredients will be customer's bringing in.) It's possible to use a kitchen. It's possible to look a wonderful sea of cloud to be lucky in the morning.
