Since then there has been numerous upgrades to the house as well as a large 1200 square foot open concept addition built onto the existing house. While out in the country, this house is central to many attractions in the area 1.5 hours south of Toronto/GTA. Blue Mountain/ Collingwood is 30 minutes north.

The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). This Campsite is situated on the Moira River between Tweed and Madoc. It is on my 4 acres of property and my house is in within site depending on where you set up. I have a canoe that is available for use to explore the semiprivate river. The campsite has the cleanest outhouse and a outdoor shower with hot water.
