Directly out front and to the South is a popular spot to launch and ride jet ski's, due at least in part to the easy public vehicle access. Cape Kiwanda and the dunes can makes for a good hike to the South. Out front and to the North, Tierra Del Mar is a much more quite and relaxed beach. Further North is Sandlake, which is a great place to watch wildlife, but also has dunes for ATV/Motorcycle/4x4 riding, and a little further Cape lookout offers great hikes and surfing. The little town of Pacific City is where you can explore Cape Kiwanda tide pools and dunes, catch some waves, go horse back riding on the beach, take a dory boat out and enjoy deep sea fishing, eat out at the award winning Pelican Pub or Grateful Bread restaurant. Drive 25 mins north to see the world famous Tillamook Cheese Factory. Enjoy a factory tour and of course their amazing variety of cheese and ice cream. 30 mins south is Lincoln City, where there is the Outlet Mall with premium stores, kite flying, one of the best skate parks in Oregon, beach front restaurants, Barnacle Bill's Seafood market where you can get fresh fish and chips, antique shops, and Chinook Winds Casino. We recommend strolling on the beach, but you can drive on the beach also :) Cleanline beach house is located in Tierra Del Mar, a 2-hour drive from Portland international Airport. The property borders the North end of Cape Kiwanda Oregon State Park, which has an access point to drive your street-legal vehicles onto the beach, launch jet skis, etc. Cape Kiwanda and the dunes make for a great southerly hike, or hike to Sandlake & Sitka Sedge State park to the North.

1/2 block walk to a beautiful beach (we are not beach front). It is only a 5 minute drive to Cape Kiwanda and Pelican brewery, and 30 minutes South of Tillamook. The beach is quiet, vast, and relatively undiscovered. It is great for beachcombers who often find agates and Japanese glass floats. Our family beach cabin was fully remodeled in 2019 with all new everything. We have designed our space for families and couples looking for a quiet beach retreat with easy beach access. We are only 4 houses from one of the quietest beaches in the area and only a 5 minute drive to Pacific City. Local activities include hiking, kayaking, surfing, and dune buggies at Sand Lake. Easy day trips to Tillamook or Lincoln City also make this an excellent home base for all of your adventures.
