The village is known for its many lakes with mirrored waters, the nearest lake Gårdssjön 800 meters from the cabin. Värsjön (3km) with shallow sandy beach and good fishing. The cottage is surrounded by good mushroom and berry fields with plenty of both moose and deer.

Stugan är placerad i en väldigt trevlig miljö med ingen trafik och möjlighet att stöta på djurlivet från bekvämligheten av stugan. Det finns väldigt många aktiviteter i närheten. Husdjur är självklart välkomna.

The area offers nice walking and cycling trails and at nearby lakes there is the possibility of swimming and fishing. In the summer there is a large communal outdoor pool a few 100 meters away. It usually opens sometime in June. If you want to go to the sea, it is 35 km both to Båstad, Mellbystrand or Ängelholm.
