Tucked off the street, this charming, fashionably decorated apartment features original hardwood floors, a clawfoot tub and mantels throughout. Vintage touches and a bright, airy kitchen add to the welcoming feel. Centrally located - just a walk or bike ride away from Frenchman St and the French Quarter. Walkscore of 90 and Bikescore of 97. We DO NOT host to children under 12 years old. Classic New Orleans apartment with character and charm located off the street in a lovely 1890's double shotgun. Stylishly furnished with many original architectural details - 13 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and mantles, clawfoot tub with shower, and private, landscaped courtyard. Stylishly furnished - the living room sports a 52 inch t.v. + Amazon Fire Stick - the bedroom has a Tempurpedic king size mattress - the fully equipped kitchen has a residential size fridge and stove with seating for four. The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. Central heat and air, dishwasher, wifi, Keurig coffee maker, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. This apartment, as well as the courtyard, is private. You have your own gated entrance. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. Originally built in 1880, there's a big relaxing courtyard, coffee bar, and gourmet kitchen. I live right down the street. Send me an AirBnB Message and I'm always around! The condo is on the quiet end of world-famous Frenchmen Street, also known as Bourbon Street. Nearby are classic New Orleans restaurants and the best music venues in the city. All the cool spots, plus amenities like grocery stores, are walkable. They call it the BIG EASY for a reason! My Guide Book has all the specifics: PARKING - If you drive, parking is available right out front of the building. It is free, no meters, or parking restrictions. Unlike the rest of the Quarter! WALKING - You can easily get to all the cool spots on foot. Most guests never move their cars for their entire stay! BIKING- You can rent bikes just around the corner. UBER, LYFT & TAXIS - are easy to catch! PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - The world famous "Red Streetcar" line of Rampart/ St. Claude is about one block away. It links you with the ENTIRE city of New Orleans! Our condo is in the coolest neighborhood in the city and on quiet end of world-famous Frenchmen Street. Also known as local's Bourbon Street. All the coolest spots are easily walk-able, classic New Orleans restaurants and the best music venues in the city. Ride-sharing & cabs are plentiful too. One block away is Starbucks, liquor/beer/wine store, a great grocery called Robert's Fresh Market with a BBQ smoker, wood-fired pizza, meat and seafood market, fresh sushi, etc. amazing!
