Our new half-timbered house is located directly on the edge of the forest in a cul-de-sac location and offers 85 square meters of living space and a sunny garden. The lake is steps away. The accommodation is the ideal starting point for walks, bike tours (100-castle bike route, Ems-Rad-Weg) or for excursions to the most livable city of Münster (27 km), to the horse stronghold of Warendorf (10 km) or to the place of pilgrimage of Telgte (10 km).

The Wersehaus with direct water access including canoe

Historic charm meets modern comfort – your home on the Werse The Wersehaus is a lovingly renovated holiday home in the heart of Handorf-Münster, right by the water. The house was built in 1934 and completely renovated in 2025 – however, the special charm of the old wooden beams continues to run through every room and reminds of the history of this unique house. You can take a tour here by canoe, enjoy the tranquility on the water and switch off at Netflix & Disney+.

With its 4 bedrooms, the lakeside house can accommodate up to 6 people. A spacious garden, which has direct access to the Tiggelsee recreational area, invites you to relax. The covered terrace can be reached from the living room. The Bagno Castle Park and the historic old town of Burgsteinfurt are within walking distance, as are the train station (Münster-Enschede line). The McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet Center (Doc) in Ochtrup offers shopping opportunities.

Münster: House on the Werse

Our house on the Werse: surrounded by nature, yet only a 20-minute bike ride from the Prinzipalmarkt. The cottage is located on a 1000m2 plot and offers direct access to the Werse. The protected landscape area is characterized by the typical boathouses that lie like pearls on a chain on the idyllic river. In the nearby outdoor swimming pool you can swim, the cycling and hiking trail starts in front of the door and the boat rental is also not far.

In our cozy half-timbered house on the pilgrimage route with a direct view of the canal, you can watch and enjoy the sunrise, the tranquility of nature and the passing ships. Whether a city stroll through the historic old town of Münster, a hike through the Teutoburg Forest or a bike ride along the canal, the beautiful Münsterland offers great opportunities for day trips and relaxation from everyday life. Our new vacation home, completed in 2024, offers the perfect break from everyday life. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, guests enjoy absolute privacy and a relaxed atmosphere without unwanted visitors. The house is modern and comfortably equipped and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. Here, peace and relaxation in your own retreat is the top priority. Our house is within walking distance (about 3 minutes) of the lake/beach.

Haddorfer vacation home with sauna and a lot of space

The cottage is surrounded by other houses in the back of the vacation rental settlement, so peace is guaranteed. The equipment is upscale with some amenities such as sauna, bathtub and enough space to retreat. The garden is large, invites you to linger and with the existing grill nothing stands in the way of a BBQ. The surroundings can be explored by bicycle or on foot. In the garden of a large pond is available.
