Around the house, there is a lovely wooden terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day, as well as an orangery and an outdoor wild swimming pool and fire pit. The summerhouse is located at the end of a main road and is a small oasis of tranquility in the middle of beautiful nature, where you can expect to be visited by fapses, squirrels and deer. New kitchen in the year 2025😊 The log cabin is well hidden off the road between the trees right next to the Poulstrup Lake area. Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.

You can walk, hike, run and cycle (mountain bike) and swim. Train station 1 km. Shopping 800 m. The property is located between Viborg, Aarhus, Silkeborg and Randers. If you are a large family or a smaller group (max 8), Sophielund is the perfect place for fun and activities. Charging of electric car - on Østergade or at the local Brugs - about 700 meters from the property.

The house is located on the water side with only 300 meters to a very child-friendly beach. The beds are made and towels are provided for the number of guests booked.
