Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Otsego County

Easily accomodated our large group with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the large living room/dining room space for us to gather. Plenty of kitchen equipment for us to prepare meals and loved the extra sink and bar area for food prep. The fake fireplace was great with the temperatures outside below freezing. Lovely back wooded area with the brook to see from the back porch. Hosts were quick to respond and their home was beautiful.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was a little nervous because I’d heard so many cautionary tales. But the stay was really wonderful and I had nothing to worry about. The house is new, clean, comfortable, charming, in a quiet neighborhood, and well located to see all of the sights in Cooperstown and the surrounding area. The host is very responsive and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was such a lovely family experience, there is lots of space, a great selection of games, multiple comfy seating areas and a super useable kitchen. My kids are older, but i noticed the home was fully babyproofed, outlet covers etc. This really felt like staying in a much loved home. And Eileen baked us fresh bread and muffins!!!

This is a great place to stay! Felt at home as soon as walked in. All the modern conveniences while maintaining the beautiful history of the house. Travelling with adult kids and friends, plenty of room for everyone. Well appointed kitchen and baths, lots of blankets for an April visit, and the location was perfect for us. Easy walk to Ommegang and easy drive to downtown Cooperstown and several other more local breweries and eateries. We had a blast! Emily was more than accommodating with quick responses and flexibility, really appreciate her as a host. We look forward to our next visit, which will be a little later in the season so we can take advantage of the outdoor area and front porch. Can't wait!

We had a great stay at this remote home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. The town of Delhi is just about 7 miles away and had some great little stores. We loved our breakfast at the Blue Bee. The house had nice amenities and very soft, plush towels.

The location is fantastic and the amenities are plentiful! A wonderful house for gathering with friends and family. There are 6 bedrooms, four of which have an attached full bathroom. The basement area was great with options to play air hockey, ping pong, or hook up a gaming console to the large screen TV. The hosts were very responsive and flexible, particularly when it came to checking in and out. To future guests with pets: this house is in the wilderness, so be prepared to check your pups for ticks.

Karen’s home was in a perfect location for our visit. All Star Village within 10 min, and Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame within 20 min. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived! The house was very clean and very comfortable for our group of 8. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were comfy! Enjoyed having coffee out on the patio in the peaceful surroundings. Played a little corn hole and the kids really enjoyed the foosball table. Hoping to visit again soon. Thanks Karen

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Home Base Airbnb while visiting our son at SUNY Oneonta College for family weekend. We feel right at home. The space was not only cozy and clean but also beautifully decorated, reflecting the charm of the area. Our stay was comfortable, our host providing helpful local tips I highly recommend Home Base Airbnb to anyone visiting the area, and I hope to return soon!

If you are going to Dreams Park for baseball, this place is new, clean, and close. Newly redone, AC, 4 bed (2 bunk rooms and 2 bath). Only downside is poor cell coverage. Other than that, and we easily worked around it, place is great!

Jaynee and her family made us feel right at home. Our stay was super relaxing and enjoyable. The property had gorgeous views and the kids loved the cows. The space had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Dan took our family on a ride through the property to see the wild life and views. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back !

This unit was very clean and well suited with everything needed. While staying in a barn, it didn’t feel like one as it was very new and updated with a modern feel. The host Mike was very friendly and even showed us around his barn with the animals.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

It really is like being at home. It is a beautiful cabin, surrounded by lots of snow and lots of pine trees. lots of towels and lots of blankets. We really had a great time, and Myrna and Mike, they are really great and very friendly. one hundred percent recommendable

We had a wonderful stay on Gemma’s property and felt right at home. The kids loved feeding the farm animals — a total highlight!! Gemma generously provided us with an array of breakfast items, which really made for lovely mornings. We would absolutely return!

Maryanne’s place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! It was cozy, quiet, and very clean. She had the fridge stocked with goodies, and delicious banana bread. There were trails on the property that made for a perfect morning walk. I would highly recommend if traveling to the Cooperstown area.

Sharon and Charlie were very welcoming. They made sure to explain everything, answer any questions we may have. I think the place is a beautiful serene location - especially if you're lucky enough to visit during the summer. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the hustle of the city and want some quiet time.

My husband, friends, and I are truly enamored with Jacob's place. The house is beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and inviting. We always have a wonderful time there. This was our third visit, and we can easily envision many more to come in the future.

Such a beautiful home with lots to do in the surrounding area. The kitchen is really well equipped with great cooking tools that we were able to make use of! Walking around on the property itself was so peaceful and only a short drive away from east sidney lake.

Amazing cabin on the water! We loved having coffee out on the water every morning. Would come back in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone!

This is a great stay! Meghan has been a such amazing host. Her place is clean and well maintained. All appliances are top quality. The yard is the cherry on the top! It also connected to a state forest if you would love to have a little hiking experience. Will definitely check out during summer time again.

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to unwind, and for peace and quiet… doesn’t get any better. And you’re close enough to Delhi if you want something to do… definitely check out the Strickland Hollow bottle shop (and if you have time take a cooking class there; delicious and fun!)… highly recommend this house.

We were in town for baseball and wanted a place we could get away and relax between games. It was an easy ride to the ball park and Cooperstown. We absolutely loved the location, it was such a great spot to getaway. My dog had the week of her life swimming every chance she got and my kids loved the fishing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us Daniel. We loved it!

The Heron cabin was an amazing weekend getaway! Close to the Baseball hall of fame, but far enough out to be away from the noise and crowds. The cabin was clean and comfortable and is a great place to relax!
