Spend your day relaxing on the front porch, fishing from one of the 2 docks on the property, or bring your off-road vehicle along and head for adventure at Red Bird! We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

Natures Studio is located on the property of the Cataract Falls Lodge. A one minute walk into the park and explore two of Indiana’s most spectacular waterfall features. Bring your adventurist spirit and explore. Within 45 minutes of the property there are two state parks, McCormick’s Creek and Turkey Run. The Lodge is 30 minutes from DePauw University and 50 minutes from IU and Indiana State University. Other attractions include Cagles Mill reservoir AKA Cataract Lake and Cowpokes Arena.

It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. This large (1,200 sq ft) cabin has an open loft type sleeping arrangement that can sleep 8-10 guests. It offers a Full kitchen and 1.5 baths. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, AC, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

This home is situated on the river, offering a private setting with quick access to other amenities. It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. There’s also upgraded WiFi and a 58-inch Smart TV with basic cable in the living room.

The Nook is a charming, newly renovated studio. Inside, 3 adults can sleep comfortably on a queen bed and futon couch. The cabin also has a full bathroom and small kitchenette. The Narrows covered bridge & Turkey Run State Park border the property to the west. The Narrows Cabins does provide firewood for guests located in the black shed near the cabins. You may use our wagons to haul the firewood back to your cabin. Please take only what you need. Free will donation accepted.
