The House of Samuel is a colonial house, in a typically gold-pretana neighborhood, next to the Pilar church. It's perfect to rest after a day of going up and downhill! For those who prefer to relax by having a beer, our room/bar at street level is “the” place to feel part of the landscape. For those who like to contemplate, we have a hammock on the balcony overlooking the churches. We accommodate up to 5 people, in one suite, one room and one extra mattress. We have an open-air car park, 30 metres from the entrance to the house.

The cabin is located approximately 11 km from the centre history of Ouro Preto, in Catarina Mendes, a rural village within the APA das Andorinhas. A 25- to 30-minute drive. There is no public transport. Two possible routes, both leading to the Morro São Sebastião neighbourhood. The access has about 2km of dirt road. Ordinary passenger vehicles (including 1.0) arrive at the site without difficulty on a daily basis. During periods of rain, the road may have more slippery stretches
