Monthly Rentals in Partridge Lake

What a beautiful spot! The cabin was very clean and newly updated. Perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Very quiet and peaceful-a great place to get away from it all. We spent many years in Franconia and this was the perfect spot to re-acquaint ourselves with the area. Arrived in the dark so if you aren't familiar with NH backroads, if you think you've missed it, just keep going(my fault for not seeing host's email directions). Will definitely be back

The lake house was everything we were looking for. There were plenty of towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc to make staying for a week less of a hassle. we loved the lake and the screened in porch! If you're not afraid of some spiders (can't be helped, you're in nature!) and can make do with a TINY shower, then this place is definitely worth it.

Everything about the red star retreat was perfect! It is perfectly situated, easy access to several attractions. There is a lovely cafe right around the corner for delicious coffee. Julia, the host, was so polite and responsive. Checking in and out was a breeze. But the one things that really stood out was how well stocked the kitchen was! The garlic press and cast iron skillet made all the difference with cooking! We will definitely be returning.

This was an amazing place to stay while enjoying the fall weather in Vermont. The location was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and across the road from the Connecticut River. Waterford itself doesn’t have much going on (which I liked!) but St. Johnsbury and Littleton are within 15-20min and have everything you need. The house was beautifully updated with all amenities needed for a comfortable autumn week, including a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry machines, fireplace, and a lovely screened porch + front deck to enjoy the weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask since the windows didn’t have curtains. I loved the member-only area - it was worth the extra cost for the river access with private beach and boats/SUPs. I only went on my final day, but I wish I had spent every evening down on the dock by the river to watch the sunset! Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet
