Nestled on a quiet country road in the heart of a vineyard planted on Monte San Nicolo, the accommodation includes 2 buildings, a Palmento from 1902 which houses the wine press and its outbuilding which was once used as a tool shed. The two spaces are united by a corten structure with a slatted roof, which provides a shady open plan kitchen and dining area next to a terrace and 4m x 7m salt water swimming pool, built in lava stone, recreating the the colours of the Etna coastline

The apartment, equipped with all modern comforts, is located next to the majestic Basilicata Santa Caterina, between the sea and Etna in the typical agricultural village of Pedara, famous for its excellent production of grapes, must and chestnuts. It overlooks Etna on one side and the natural park of Monte Troina with its natural and wildlife riches on the other. Next to it, on the same floor, is another apartment with 3 beds. This was the owners' house inside Villa Lionti, a fortified farmhouse made of lava stone dating from the 1700s. This house has pedestrian and car access, private parking, a private patio, and high-quality carpets and furniture. The house was renovated in 2026. Villa Gravina is a charming historic residence belonging to one of the most illustrious families in Italy, the Marquises Gravina. The magnificent trompe-l'oeil frescoed hall and the historic Italian garden are remarkable. A cleaning service and a gardener's maintenance service will be available for the duration of the stay. The housekeepers will carry out their duties for about a couple of hours quietly and discreetly, respecting the privacy and rest of the guests.

In the open space there is a toilet with solar calendar, a japanise alcova with tatami and futon, a large bath tube, a heater and an antique stereo class A. Guest can admire the sun and moon rising over the sea and the sunset behind the volcano. Palmento is of exclusive use of the guests.

Perfect base for excursions on Etna in an oak's wood of 2500 square meters we host you in a lovely hut merged with our house but with an independent entrance, two bedrooms (one double and one with a single bed), a bathroom with shower, NO KITCHEN but in the living room there are fridge, table accessories, microwave oven and kettle electric. Outdoor area equipped with deck chairs, table and chairs, hammock for the exclusive use of guests.

Forte Santa Barbara

Forte Santa Barbara is an elegant 90 m² apartment on the first floor with a semi-independent entrance, in a renovated historic building in the heart of Catania.
