We had a wonderful stay here! Such a beautiful space and having two en-suite bathrooms was amazing. Thoughtful touches left for us in the kitchen and Gareth had given us lots of helpful instructions / recommendations too. Super responsive and made us feel like we were very cared for on our stay. The smart tv is fab too. So many gorgeous walks on the doorstep and a really quiet location. We would definitely recommend!

The cottage was beautifully set up with all expected amenities and more. It’s located in a very peaceful setting, and you can walk into the village or to the Bannau Brycheiniog park by way of footpaths through gorgeous landscapes. Alastair was a top notch host, providing recommendations for local walks and even shared a bottle of apple juice from his very own orchard. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home base while exploring the national park.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! My fiancé and I had an amazing time at Crab Apple Cottage! The cottage itself was cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway at the foot of the Brecon Beacons. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and super responsive. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature.

Ideal if you want a peaceful few days away, at the hut you can relax listening to the local wildlife or if it’s cold listen to the crackle of the log fire inside the cabin. The location is perfect if you want quick access to hikes etc in the Brecon Beacons. There is also a cosy pub with a beer garden next to a canal, with great food, beer and board games available only a few minutes walk away. Also access to two towns near by with other food options such as chippy. In addition Fran was a welcoming host. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Thanks.
