Riverfront cottage 1-mile nature walk to downtown

A unique old-school cottage located right on the Bear River and Petoskey's newly developed Bear River park and trail. A one-mile meandering walk, over the river and through the woods will take you to downtown Petoskey and Lake Michigan. Along the riverwalk in the opposite direction is a skate park and running track. Also close to shopping plazas and a robust downtown shopping district. The house is dog friendly with a fenced in yard and has three porches to look out over the the river valley.

Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

There is no lake access at the cottage, private dock is available at our home a few doors down. Wintertime: 4 miles to ski & snowboard Boyne Mtn, Avalanche indoor waterpark too! 9.6 miles to Jordan Valley snowmobile parking. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.
