Stefano's house is nestled in the wonderful alleys of the magical ancient village of Pettorano. The house overlooks a beautiful mountain view of Mount Genzano, accompanied by the sound of the flowing Gizio river, in the true center of the nature reserve. The house has everything you need for a great stay. Stefano's advice on what to eat (restaurants in the historic center within walking distance) and what to see, were helpful. Highly recommended

Really nothing to say, just positive aspects. Alessandra and Giulia were always attentive, present by phone and not only throughout the holiday and ready to meet our every need. The house is ME-RA-VI-GLIO-SA: very clean, with a splendid view of the village and the mountains from every window and with plenty of space for guests, two large living rooms, one of which has billiards, a large kitchen and equipped with everything you need, three really functional bathrooms and (there were two of us) a beautiful bedroom. Really beautiful furniture and furnishings, they tell a lot about the owners' lives and fully show their taste and their "love for beauty". Really strategic and enviable location: next to the castle, a stone's throw from the center and the most beautiful walks. In short: a solution that I would recommend and that I fully warm up!

If you plan to stay in the Sulmona area, this is the place we recommend to stay. It's beautiful, unique, spacious, clean and has a fantastic host. It's in a quintessential medieval town, right next to a castle. Serena, greeted us with a picnic basket full of breakfast items, and gave us tips where locally to eat. Her place comes fully equipped with all you need to cook, eat, and stay for multiple days incl. a huge library of (Italian) books. You won't be disappointed if you look for something special...
