Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pictou County

We had a great stay at Valerie’s. A perfect location to spend time with friends off the grid. The home is spacious with everything you would need. We had 11 adults there comfortably. Valerie was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to be back!

This is our 4th summer staying with Brenda; her space is clean, fully outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen, and the sunset is excellent. Thanks Brenda!

We used the house for St FX convocation and the home housed parents, grandparents and the grad. The house was amazing and everything was just right!! The house and Patti were both awesome!! We would gladly stay again if the situation arises.

Eigg Mountain was very cozy and welcoming. Many extras and fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the sauna and spacious outdoor area with sliding hills and fire pit. Yummy homemade bread, jam and muffins!

Absolutely stunning! Right on the water, great views, watched deer in the yard... The screened in porched was awesome, the back porch with Propane fire pit is a great touch. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to book again

We were so fortunate to spend spring break at Mark's place with our 3 kids. Upon walking in the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Mark has done an impeccable job renovating this place. The kitchen is a dream (hello gas oven ❤️) and the shower is super cool. The basement was perfect for our two older kids to have their own space. We really appreciated all the games and activities he provided - hours of fun just with monopoly and scrabble. That's the thing about this place - being inside it is a vacation in itself. So many touches to this place that make it stand out from the many others we have stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

We were in the area for work and really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are super comfortable. Location is perfect for getting to the highway or close to the amenities. We would return here anytime.

Beautiful place, lovely hosts and comfortable bed! Cute place in a great location. You have your own entrance but it's not very private as the space is connected to the home, so you can hear people talking and moving around inside. The hosts greeted us in person however and were very personable and warm! Good stay overall.

Five stars! I know I'm not the first reviewer to say this, but the photos don't do this place justice. It's so spacious and has lovely little architectual details that don't show up in the pics. Loved the luxury of having two bathrooms while traveling with a friend, especially the ensuite one in the master bedroom. Robert's place is squeaky clean and with a home-y vibe. The beds and pillows were comfortable and seemed new-ish and I appreciated finding a nice tea selection after a long day on the road. My friend was grateful to have a soak in the clawfoot tub (which was kitted out with all sorts of salts/bath bombs, etc) after travelling. When she realized the hair blowdryer was missing, we messaged Robert and he came over immediately with a new one. We both really appreciated that, and how quickly he responded. Glad we found this little gem!

Such a cute little spot we absolutely loved it! Loved the board game options and the layout. It was exactly what we needed and wanted. It was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again and again:)

Great spot to stay. In town for work- good location, close to the hospital and town. Not the most sound proof from the family/kids upstairs but it’s great other than that! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot to stay.
