The newly renovated two-room apartment is located in the Alpenhotel Dachstein complex above the Alpine town Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstattsee in the beautiful Salzkammergut. Alpenhotel Dachstein is located just 12 km from the historic town of Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The neolithic region of Salzkammergut offers a wealth of opportunities for families such as winter sports, cycling trails winding over clear lakes and of course great cuisine. An ideal starting point for hiking, mountaineering or biking and for trips to the Berchtesgadener Land or to Salzburg. Many destinations can be reached by public transport with their guest card free of charge. Bus stop in the immediate vicinity. Just 2 km away is Lake Thumsee, one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in the Berchtesgadener Land.

Our apartment is built in 2016 and we loved it to design the rooms, the equipment and the decoration. It´s based on the ground floor of our house and has an seperate entrance, an extra room for skies/hiking shoes, an extra entrance and a directly conecting to the terasse and the garden. The appartement is fully equipped and the overview to the beautiful mountains around you can enjoy sitting on the couch :) Just try and test the "homy" feeling in our house...

The approximately 90 square meter apartment is on the second floor of a 2-family house with a separate entrance. There is a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a separate room with a slightly smaller double bed (160 × 200 cm). There is also a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine in the apartment. We are always happy to welcome new guests. Bikers are also very welcome here!

Unfortunately, there is no fixed parking space at the house - a parking space in the public garage can be rented for €15/24 hours, as of: April 2025. Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish space. Perfect starting point for hiking, cycling, skiing or simply relaxing in the Berchtesgaden Alps or at Königssee. You can do your grocery shopping in the small supermarket around the corner. The house has its own free parking space. A bus stop for driving to the city center or Berchtesgaden train station is also nearby.
