Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pifo

If you are not familiar with Quito, I think La Floresta is one of the best neighborhoods in Quito. I’d guess there are over 30 restaurants within a 2 block radius of this apartment with anything from hotdogs to sushi and anything in between. High priced to low prices. It’s also a short walk to a supermarket, pharmacies, banks. I was a bit surprised when I entered the apartment, as it was more elegant than the pictures showed. I found Alejandro to be easy to work with, although work may slow his response. Overall I expect I will be back in this apartment again.

Daily visits from donkey Margarita & black lab Carbone were added pleasures to our stay. Felipe was responsive to hot water issue. Took guests to church on property. Explained history of property, Quito and Ecuador in general. He was extremely kind and helpful. Picked up & transported us back to airport for reasonable fee. Modest but lovely home.

Location: Hotel Casa Elena is located an 8min bus ride ($0.35) from the central historic district of Quito. The busstop is in front of the hotel. If you prefer to sleep peacefully away from noise of the city then this is the place for you. There are low-priced family owned; restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries within a 5 to 15 min walk. This is Andes ⛰️ so there are HILLS! Accommodations: Casa Elena is a family run hotel. Dario is the host and he is very affable and responsive to any question or request. The room is a small studio with an en-suite restroom, a basic kitchen, and a large window which allows you to enjoy the gentle rushing of the nearby river, the FRESH AIR, and the peace and quiet which is unavailable at more centrally located locations. The gym is well appointed with options for; weightlifting, boxing , 🏀 and ⚽️ They also have a hottub on the roof with excellent views. Casa Elena is a hidden gem with ⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️, locally owned accommodations in a safe community.

Mi estancia en este alojamiento fue excelente. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, muy bien equipado y tal como se muestra en las fotos. La cama era cómoda, el wifi funcionaba perfecto y la ubicación era ideal, cerca de todo lo necesario pero en una zona tranquila. Además, el anfitrión fue muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con recomendaciones y responder rápidamente cualquier duda. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo 100%.

Me sentí como en casa, cumplió con todo. Y excelente el anfitrión. Volvería a hospedarme. ☺️☺️

Porton Blanco is a true home away from home! The host provided a warm welcome before I even arrived with her quick reply to my booking and detailed responses to my questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshments and recommendations, which ensured our trip was smooth and enjoyable. One of my favorite luxuries of this home is its terrace view of the mountains - it’s such a beautiful site to see! The house is conveniently located near a shopping centre and walking distance from a market where we were able to stock up on kitchen staples. Overall, quiet and convenient location with a clean space. If you can fit it into your agenda request the masseuse, such a treat. Can’t wait to stay here again - thank you for being an amazing host!

El espacio muy limpio, bien ubicado, Pablo muy atento y nos ayudo con el transporte unos señores súper cordiales y excelente servicio.

Pasamos una noche en el apartamento de David a nuestro regreso de un viaje de trabajo. El apartamento está muy buen ubicado, en uno de los barrios más bonitos de Quito. Es la segunda vez que me alojo en el apartamento de David y me siento muy cómoda allí: es amplio, la cocina está bien equipada, tiene lavadora y secadora y es muy tranquilo. Lo recomiendo altamente!

Ho soggiornato in casa di Diego per un mese e mi sono trovata benissimo. L'appartamento è accogliente e arredato con gusto, ha tutte le comodità anche per una permanenza lunga. La posizione è centralissima, molto vicino alla stazione della metro Carolina e al centro commerciale El Jardin. A due passi il bellissimo parco La Carolina. L'appartamento è al quarto piano, è silenzioso e ben illuminato. L'edificio ha le guardie di sorveglianza h24, tutte sempre molto gentili e disponibili. La punta di diamante è poi l'attenzione e la gentilezza del padrone di casa. Per qualsiasi necessità risponde prontamente ai messaggi, risolve problemi ed esaudisce ogni richiesta. Una vera garanzia. Mi sono trovata benissimo e mi è dispiaciuto andarmene. Ringrazio Diego veramente di cuore.

Villa Doris es un lugar mágico para disfrutar con toda la familia o amigos. Tiene todas las comodidades y está en medio de la naturaleza. Lo mejor es que puedes observar ardillas, pájaros y hasta zarigüeyas! Lorena, su anfitriona, es muy dulce y atenta. Todo estuvo perfecto!!

My stay with Daniela was amazing. She was helpful in every way. She kindly welcomed me after my long flight and offered me some tea. Daniela was responsive to every question I had about the city, the country, and the neighborhood. When I encountered issues at the apartment, she tried to help me!!Thanks to her support, my stay was peaceful, and I truly felt at home. The apartment is just amazing: cozy with a nice view!

La Quinta de Jim & Maria es un sitio excelente para relajarse y desconectar de la ciudad. Tiene de todo. Grill, chimenea, lugar para fogatas y un extenso campo para caminar. Todos los cuartos tienen su baño propio y cuentan con toallas y elementos de limpieza personal. Las camas muy comodas y sobretodo la limpieza del lugar es algo que vale la pena recalcar. 100% recomendado

Patricia's place had a beautiful view. It was spacious and quiet. Security was very friendly and we felt safe. The place had very hot water, which isn't always the case. Surrounding was quiet from the apartment. There was shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap and towels provided. If you plan to use the kitchen, you will have to pick up supplies. There was detergent to wash clothing. We took taxis where ever we needed to go. Overall, Patricia's place was as pictured and very spacious. She had great communication and made check-in easy. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Fue una estadía relajante y tranquila, la casa es antigua pero muy cuidada , Maria Agusta fue una anfitriona increíble siempre pendiente de nuestras necesidades, realmente la pasamos increíble, justo lo que necesitaba con mi familia, un lugar cerca para poder movilizarnos en diferentes horarios y a la vez nos sentirnos alejados de todo. Muchas gracias por todo esperamos volver pronto.

Bien ubicado …a unos 10 minutos caminando del metro donde podíamos llegar a todos lugares fácilmente!

Luisa is a very welcoming and thoughtful host, made us feel right at home :) The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and was very cozy and charming. The grounds are beautiful and food was delicious. When we stayed there were hammocks to lay in while we listened to the sounds of the birds. A great escape from the hectic modern world :)

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's apartment. So much so that on the back half of our recent trip, we rebooked another stay. the apartment is centrally located with easy access to restaurants and short walk to major grocery store (Megamaxi) and a large mall (Quicentro). The building has many amenities as well, including an indoor pool. If you are driving here, the garage parking is included. We'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ecuador.

We had a great stay here. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and really well located with tons of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Martina was very accommodating and communication with her was seamless. I would stay here again anytime. Thank you Martina and Guillermo!
