Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pittsburgh

The neighborhood is exactly as described. We live in Phillipsburg NJ and it too was devastated by the collapse of manufacturing and US Steel and it, like Duquesne, is starting to come back to life. Being here inspired me to look up the history of the area and appreciate it even more. I loved the view from the backyard as it is unobstructed by houses. I also loved all the retro furniture and trinquites throughout the house. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Wonderful place. The house looked like it was remodeled yesterday. Very cute and well organized. The kitchen was completely stocked with new pots, utensils, glasses, plates, etc. Walking distance to the shops in Oakmont with a beautiful view of the Allegheny River. Perhaps the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Thank you.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and absolutely beautiful! They’ve even got labels on the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen so you know where everything is! The HotTub was sooooo nice in the chilly weather! Such a nice place to stay, we will be coming back!

My husband and I were visiting Pittsburgh for the Steelers vs Browns game, and Lauren’s place could not have been more perfect for our weekend getaway to the city! The house was gorgeous, extremely cozy, and had plenty of space. Short 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the Monongahela incline where we could take the trolley straight to Acurisure stadium, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the house, and if it wasn’t so cold we would have totally taken advantage of the private backyard with the fire pit! Lauren really thought of everything to make the home extra special. We will absolutely be back, and hope that Lauren’s place will be available to book again!

Cute, little updated rowhouse. Very clean! Well stocked and appreciated the extra touches (snacks, coffee, YouTube TV). Off street parking area and fenced yard were definitely a plus. Within walking distance to a lot of great shops and restaurants. Hosts were kind, accommodating and quick to respond.

I highly recommend staying here! The space is peaceful and well-maintained, and Jack, the host, is incredibly attentive and responsive. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting us!

Staying with Leni was perfect! The space felt so cozy! Some highlights of the listing is how relaxing the bed is with perfect temperature controls of the AC and heat. Having a garage to park my car was great as it snowed during or stay so I didn't have to clean it off and Leni snowblowed the drive way immediately which was very thoughtful as our host. Her lovely protecting dog Kubo was outside the property when we arrived but we didn't have to interact with any of the animals to check in by ourselves. I'm 6"2' and my only complaint was using the shower was a little awkward since I was eyelevel with the shower head but super negligible. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Leni!

Kelly Jane's place was fantastic for a trip to Pittsburgh! It was about a 20 min trip to PPG, Acrisure Stadium, and downtown Pittsburgh. The accommodations were spotless and had a great view of the river along with beautiful sunset picture's. Parking was easy and convenient. Very quiet and peaceful even with a microbrew downstairs. Perfect for 6 adult couples to stay. Will keep this marked for future visits to Pittsburgh!!

This place is lovely. The interior is beautiful and gets lots of sunlight. Walking distance to groceries (East End Coop), coffee, fun shops (Creative Reuse and Construction Junction), and a climbing gym! Quiet area at night. Some noises outside promptly at 8am each day (recycling trucks at Construction Junction). Great bus access too.

What an amazing trip! James was extremely helpful giving recommendations for our trip. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and the perfect home base for exploring the city! I would definitely stay here again!

The space is lovely and has tons of room! We had the fire burning all throughout the weekend. Hot tub was fabulous. House is in good proximity to seven springs, an easy drive! The master bedroom with the massive bathroom was amazing. Michael and Anthony were extremely kind and responsive hosts! The supply of wood, well stocked kitchen, and cozy cabin made for a great weekend.

The house is spacious with multiple living areas, allowing our group to spread out and relax. The hot tub and large fireplace were highlights, just be sure to bring firewood and open the flue beforehand. Check-in and check-out were super easy and the host was flexible, which we really appreciated. Great location -mere minutes to the mountain with easy access. The driveway is steep and was very icy, we used the second entrance to make it up to the house. Make sure upon arrival to check for a binder that includes instructions like how to warm up the house and turn the water on. The house was generally clean, but it wasn’t the most spotless Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was well-equipped, though there wasn’t much pantry space for storing enough for 16. There aren’t a lot of groceries stores nearby so be sure to stop by a Walmart or other supermarket before you arrive. The loft stairs are very steep, so should be able-bodied to access. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable.

Very comfortable spot. Plenty of amenities for adults and children. Gino was very responsive if we had any questions. Will definitely book again, perfect space or relaxing and spending time with the family.

Great cabin and location, very close to seven springs. Extremely private for a perfect couples weekend. The cabin also has a functional fireplace and the host provided plenty of firewood. Would highly recommend and will be staying again!

This was a great place to stay close to Seven Springs. It is a fun cabiny environment and is also well stocked for all of your needs. It runs a little cooler in the winter, but if that doesn't bother you, it is fantastic!

My family and I stayed to see the groundhog! The cabin was beautiful plus it was so much land and so peaceful! The lake was frozen over and snow all over which was gorgeous. Tammy was so helpful and her recommendations were very helpful. if you visit during winter be sure you have a 4 wheel drive car and be aware the driveway up to the cabin can ice over so be careful or just do what we did and park at the bottom. We had such a fun time and cant recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay. Being 5 minutes from Seven Springs was a huge plus. The place was very well stocked, we were amazed there was even a coffee grinder on hand! Hot tub was nicely oversized and Clinton was responsive when needed. The only concern we had was one of the bunk beds was so rickety the kids refused to sleep up top. Im sure this will be addressed and we'd love to stay here again.

Our Christmas stay at 'The Cabin in the Woods' was absolutely magical! The cabin exceeded our expectations with its cozy ambiance, especially the delightful fireplace. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our experience even better. We enjoyed days filled with skiing, playijg boardgames and puzzles, we cooked a delicious lasagna in the well stocked kitchen, and spent countless moments of relaxation by the fire. We cherished our time away so much that we're now inspired to buy our own cabin in Champion! We highly recommend 'The Cabin in the Woods' for anyone looking for a perfect retreat."
