“Most wonderful Tiny home in Floyd VA presented with loving care from amazing host’s Hari & Karl. This space is well designed with everything needed in a home on a smaller scale. Less is more.... Tiny house living allows you to spend less time cleaning and more time living. It’s freeing in so many ways. The home was close to area hiking trails, the Blue Ridge parkway, farmer markets, restaurants , breweries & shops . The tiny home was well landscaped including a nice outdoor space ~ side deck complete with a fire pit. Great for winding down or star gazing after a long day of hiking. I truly enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the autumn .”
Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!
“We had a wonderful farm experience. Jeanne gave us fresh farm eggs that we enjoyed. We spent a lot of time interacting with the hosts & animals. We fed the alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep & chickens. The hosts answered so many city people questions and they were so kind and knowledgable answering our questions. They are completely ok with not interacting with you if that’s what you prefer; we 4 adult city ladies wanted the complete farm experience. We saw an adorable baby calf about 3 hours after she was born and she was still learning how to walk. The first day we walked 7 miles on a trip to the pond, a trail to the woods, and across the pasture for 360 views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We just had to take it all in. The house is an old farmhouse. I loved walking by the kitchen table with its claw feet. We cooked 3 meals in the house. It has all the basic pots and pans you need. Jeanne was quick to bring more supplies like toilet paper & trash bags when we needed them. The single bed in the 2nd bedroom is a cot. The house is in a great location. It’s so quiet & dark at night.”
The lodge rests on a ridge top surrounded by 50 acres in the heart of Floyd County. Enjoy a stunning mountain view from the front porch sipping your favorite drink. This mountain retreat has 3 bedrooms, a loft , & 2 full baths. Thoughtful open floor plan is great for big groups, yet cozy enough as a romantic getaway for 2. Grounds contain a fire pit, walking path, and plenty of room for games. We can accommodate large gatherings. 8 miles from downtown Floyd; 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
“This is now the second time my friends and I came to visit and we loved it just as much as we did the first time! Eric is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. The cabin is perfect for large groups and there are plenty of things to do both inside and out. I highly recommend anyone looking for a fun trip in the mountains to stop by!”
