Casa Dany Arena Apartment

Ariadna LizethRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The place is very nice and very easy to locate, communication with the host was excellent. The only thing I don't 100% like was that in the check out instructions you have to pick up all the garbage from the place when you're supposed to pay for the cleaning fee.

Stylish 2 Bedroom and 3 Level Villa W/Private Pool

JohnRating, 5 stars11 months ago
It’s the nicest, most upscale property on the beach. It has fantastic views as it is on a mountain slope over looking the beach. The only thing i would caution is that if you walk to town a lot you will be doing a lot of stair climbing which could be difficult for older people. The staff and owners are exceptional and go out of their way everyday to make sure you have everything you need and are happy! Carlos and Issac get a special shout out for their over the top customer service and making us feel like family! First Class operation on every level. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful 2 Bedroom Apartment with View

PaulRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We only had 3 nights here, before moving on to Mazunte, but we wish we had more. The apartment was the perfect spot to make home base. It was private and quiet and a view of the ocean to boot. The apartment had everything we needed and the open concept was great. Just a two minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants and groceries. We especially loved the wildlife we saw from the apartment including geckos, iguanas, and chachalacas. Paolo also gave us tons of great recommendations for food, drinks, beaches, and activities! Highly recommend to anyone travelling to San Agustanillo or Mazunte!

The hosts Mrs. Jacqueline and her husband Mario are excellent people, friendly, helpful, very committed to their work. They never let us miss anything. Always available for us. The place is just as described and has an excellent location if you have a car because there is a lot of tranquility I highly recommend it and hope to return soon

Casa Aquila Mazunte- Casita Bungalow IV

BirtheRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Aquila. Communication with Adrian was great from the beginning, he gave us tipps and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed after three nights. We especially enjoyed the natural surroundings - sitting on the terrace, watching birds, iguanas, squirrels etc was our daily delight. Two good fans helped to cool down during hot days. Everything in town was easily walkable. We can only recommend this simple yet wonderful stay.

BeachApartment w/beautiful view6

VickiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Amazing hosts, we felt right at home! Great little beaches just down the road, a bit of a hike back but definitely doable (and we are in our late 60’s!) Several beach restaurants with cold cerveza and menus featuring Mexican cuisine. Walked into Puerto Angel, 12 minutes, lots of little fruit and veggie places and a couple of decent grocery stores had everything we needed. Locals sell chicken (we had it butterflied right there!) and fish also. Lots of taxis but we tried the colectivos too!! Gracias, we had a wonderful time … and we’ll be back!

Nice house near the beach

EvaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a great time at Alejandro’s. The house is beautifully finished with lots of thoughtful touches. We appreciated the outdoor shower for a rinse after the beach, the washing line to dry towels, plentiful drinking water and the option for warm water if you wanted a little in your shower to take the edge off. It was an easy walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants nearby. Nice and quiet. The house is on the main street just on the edge of town but we kept the windows shut to keep things cool and the traffic didn’t bother us at all. Alejandro was a very kind, friendly and responsive host, along with his co-host who lived on the property. Would stay here again!

Casa Cactus, Oaxaca coast.

SamuelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The place is a gem of calm and quiet, with a small local beach close by. Brenda is super responsive and helpful and her local colleagues offer all kinds of services upon request from cooking to cleaning to massages and tours. Upon arrival we found thoughtful newly purchased extras for our one year old baby such as a cot, high chair, toys, bath tub, dishes and so on and we never even asked for any of that. Both the house and Brenda and her team are outstanding. The only thing to consider is the relative remoteness of the location. Own means of transport is highly recommended as taxi services would need to be planned in advance to some extent. Definitely recommend, particularly for small groups and families.

Casa Natura, a real paradise, Pacific, pool

ErickRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We were a group of 6 friends who stayed here for a few nights, and our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer. The place is truly incredible: comfortable, spacious, stylish, and unique, all while being quiet and just a short walk from the beach. Amalia is the kindest and most amazing. She made us feel completely at home with her warmth and hospitality, and her support was truly special. On top of that, she’s an incredible cook, preparing any meal we wanted with the freshest ingredients, including a mix of traditional Mexican food, fish and even a barbecue night. Jerome was a fantastic host. Super hands-on and always ready with excellent recommendations for beaches and activities, making sure we got the best experience possible. A huge thank you to Jerome and Amalia.

Casa Contrada: Secluded Beach House in Oaxaca

MarysiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

The Lost / Main House

KjerstinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our second stay and Ivan’s and Gala’s beautiful home and it was exactly as we remembered it. Peaceful and relaxing. The house is a work of art - every detail is so well thought out and blends perfectly. It is truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The food prepared for breakfast and lunch is so tasty. Once we arrived - we did not leave the house for our entire stay.

Casa Bruno

GilbertoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The stay is very pleasant. There are usually a lot of mosquitoes in the area, but the house is completely covered with a mosquito net so you don't even suffer from it. We rest quite well, no noise, or anything that disturbs. The location is very good because you are a few minutes from the restaurant and commerce area, but far enough away for you to enjoy the rest. I would definitely rent the house again.

Casa Monte Aragón

Great place to stay. The house is quite large, with a wonderful view, swimming pool and everything you need to spend a pleasant stay. In addition, it is located near the points of interest in the area, only it is essential to carry your own vehicle. I would definitely stay there again.

Cabana Alegria - Ocean View Home - 2 Master Suites

NathanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Incredible place to stay in San Agustinillo. Know that there is no Air Conditioning going in (which may take getting adjusted to), but the balcony view is spectacular and the pictures do not do it justice! Great value, very responsive host and overall great experience.
