“100% would recommend staying here. This quaint little cabin had everything we needed. The cabin was sparkling clean. Every detail was thought of, from the beverages in the fridge, to a cute "Happy Anniversary" welcome card. Alise even wrote down all the events happening near by. They also put in an air conditioner in before we got there to make our stay more comfortable. Our stay was amazing, super quiet, and close to everything. Thank you Alise for a perfect anniversary getaway.”
My home is located in rural northern Emmet County. In 30 minutes you can reach Harbor Springs, Mackinaw City, Petoskey and Cross Village for unique up north shopping, dining, and outdoor recreational opportunities. Minutes away from beautiful beaches and other summer attractions. In the winter, snow enthusiasts will find Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob 20 minutes away. A perfect place for a peaceful, quiet getaway!
“Helen’s place is an absolute gem. Close to Harbor Springs and Petoskey but also out in the countryside to give you peace and serenity. We had a wonderful night sleep listening to the rain fall and the animals all around. The space is clean and Helen thoughtfully provides a coffee maker, small snacks and water. We will for sure be back.”
We are just getting started as a B&B. We offer one bedroom on the 3rd floor (stairs) with private bath. On the 2nd floor is a lovely, rustic bedroom with private balcony and private bath down the hall(bridge) . We live here but have our own space and bathroom. A full breakfast is provided along with lots of ambiance.
“This B&B exceeded our expectations and has set a high bar for future stays in other places and locations. My husband and I spend two cozy nights here during upper Michigan's winter. The grounds were beautiful in their blanket of snow and the stars were amazing. The house is very unique, warm and cozy. We both slept very well in the comfortable bed on the third floor. Our hosts, Maureen and Dale, were very friendly and felt like old friends after just two days. Iris, their Australian Shepherd, was an added bonus and one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever met. My husband is not a dog person but he even commented on Iris' demeanor. If i hadn't seen the dog I wouldn't have even noticed she was there. The house truly is "sparkling" clean with many nice touches. I enjoyed watching the birds while eating our delicious homemade breakfast each morning. This is a very special and welcoming home and I highly recommend booking if you have the opportunity.”
