Cottage in the middle of the forest, private beach. Inari is about 10km away. Electricity is, no tap water. A private well becomes cold water for the sauna, where you can get drinking water and washing water. The washing and dishwater needs to be heated. Compost toilet in the yard building. The guest must have experience in a cottage where there is no tap water or an indoor toilet, and must know how to heat the sauna with trees. You should bring your own linens and towels. In the summer, use of the hot tub is included in the rent, as well as a rowing boat. Directions to the property.

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday resort. Surrounded by the magnificent nature of Upper Lapland. The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

A quirky hidden gem, nestled in a tiny reindeer herding village in Lapland far away from tourist herds. Brimming with books, retro cabin vibes and cosy corners for reading and gazing out at the lake on both floors, this is the perfect place to retreat into or create a world of your own. Take a wander down the road to the local reindeer farm or village bar for kicks or inspiration. An open view to the north for general skygazing (and northern lights, if you're lucky) awaits out the backdoor.

Dry toilet away from main building, no running water but in summer a tube from the spring. 12V electricity from the battery for lighting and usb-charging. If necessary, 230V electricity with generator. The kitchen has a gas stove and a 12V refrigerator or a small gas refrigerator. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and stove.
