Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Koe Lapin luonnon rauha ja yötön yö ainutlaatuisessa lasiseinäisessä elämyslaavussa erämaajärven rannalla. Majoitus pedattuna 3:lle, omissa makuupusseissa yöpyville jopa 5 makuupaikkaa. Minikeittiössä keittolevy, mikro, jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, leivänpaahdin ja astiat (lasit, mukit, lautaset, kahvipressot ruokailuvälineet jne.). Vieressä olevalla rantasaunalla suihkut. Kompostoiva puucee. Sauna on puulämmitteinen. Opastamme tarvittaessa saunan lämmityksessä. Käytössä kesällä ja alkusyksystä.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Northern lights paradise

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

Tässä unohtumattomassa kohteessa voit kokea uudelleen yhteyden luontoon. Lasi-iglussa koet Lapin luonnonilmiöt kuin olisit osa niitä, kesän yöttömän yön, talven tuiskun ja revontulet sekä hiljaisuuden erämaajärven rannalla. Alueella on päärakennus josta löydät a-oikeuksilla varustetun ravintolan, jossa tarjoillaan aamiainen sekä valmistetaan tilauksesta päivällistä. Studio with own entrance & a kitchen and a bathroom. 10 min walk from the bus station, from the supermarkets and other services. The Ivalo airport is only 10km away. There are two single beds. Desk and chairs You will also find a kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave, crockery and cutlery. The studio has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels and toilet paper are provided. Free Wi-Fi.

A nice and cozy studio with own shower and toilet. No proper kitchen, but a fridge, microwave and a water kettle. In the middle of the village of Saariselkä with 5min walk to department store and 10min walk to the skiing tracks. A lot of restaurants and activity providers close by.
