Attention.... Due to the coronaviris I take extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently!! It's Quaint old fashioned cottage, right on the water of lake Huron, it may not have all the technology but the view is worth a million dollars!! It has an indoor porch area for enjoying the view, eating at, and playing games. It has a stand up shower, and all the comforts of home. If you need a place to get away and refresh yourself this is it. It's very quiet and you'll likely eat and sleep more!
“This charming cottage is a place you will not want to leave. The porch is amazing. You will enjoy eating meals, covered from any bugs (note: there were less bugs than I expected outside), while enjoying the fresh, lake kissed air, and relaxing sound of waves. While we were there, the waves were 3-5 feet, so we had a blast swimming in them. Lake Huron is gorgeous, even more so when it’s in the back yard. The lawn is soft, lush and green; A barefoot walker’s dream. You can take a beautiful stroll to the lighthouse a few doors down. We spent a lot of time sitting in the swing by the water and fire pit. There is so much to do right at this cottage, you really don’t even need to get back in your car if you don’t want to. It is not common to be in a place where one may enjoy such a magnificent sunrise AND sunset. The beds were far more comfortable than we expected. We loved the games. There are even yard games; there is a vintage croquet set of high-quality workmanship (they don’t make things like they used to). The kids loved it. They had never played it before. We all had such a relaxing time. We hope to return.”

“Gary’s place is a clean, comfortable, no-frills cabin attached to his home. There isn’t a kitchen, but a gas grill is provided for cooking. Everything else you need is included—shampoo, conditioner, towels, a microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, and there’s a lovely little fire pit just a short walk down the trail to the river’s edge. We used Gary’s canoe to paddle 2 miles down the Pinnebog River to Lake Huron. It was beautiful and relaxing! Just be sure to bring your own coffee if you need a cup o’ joe every morning like I do. Gary is a lovely and communicative host. Would stay again!”
