Monthly Rentals in Polruan

We had a wonderful stay at Beverley’s place in Polruan. The home is immaculate, warm, spotlessly clean and she has covered every detail in a way that most Airbnbs don’t quite manage. The kitchen and living space were perfectly equipped and the master bed was honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, with gorgeous views of the harbour to wake up to. She was great to communicate with and everything was explained clearly in the instruction folder. Thank you Beverly for having us stay in your home!

Seashells is a cosy and homely cottage with lovely views down the river. The cottage is well fitted out and had everything we needed. Sarah is a great host who responded quickly when we contacted her. We would definitely choose to stay at Seashells if we visit Polruan again - which we hope to do.

The location is truly breathtaking—an ideal setting for a peaceful and restorative getaway. Evenings were particularly magical, with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle aroma of the log burner creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both nearby pubs, The Lugger Inn and The Russell Inn, were delightful. The Russell Inn stood out in particular, offering excellent food and a well-curated selection of beers. The bar staff and local patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable experience. 100% recommended!!

The upstairs living accommodation is really lovely with beautiful views, especially from the comfortable lounge. The downstairs bedrooms and bathroom were small but clean. Washing machine worked well but the host doesn’t provide washing powder so you may want to take some - Anne kindly helped us locate some - thank you! Parking was a real bonus. We didn’t risk driving closer to the cottage as our car is large, but it was no trouble to get our bags up and down the hill from the car park. The ferry ride over to Fowey was a lovely journey and walks in the area were excellent.
