Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pomena

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Jungs und einem Mädchen dort. Wir hatten die Unterkunft ausgewählt wegen des Pools und des Whirlpools, falls schlechtes Wetter sein würde. Als dies leider für 3 Tage der Fall war, konnten wir in den Pool (26 Grad beheizt) und auch in die Sauna sowie den 28 Grad warmen Whirlpool und es uns gemütlich machen. Um die Jahreszeit kurz vor Ostern waren nur 2 Restaurants geöffnet, so dass wir auch selbst gekocht haben. Jurica ist sehr freundlich und hat stets geholfen, wenn irgendeine Frage bei uns aufkam. Die Taxipreise auf der Insel sind hoch. Wir waren ohne Auto da, dennoch konnte man alles erreichen mit dem Bus. Den Tagesausflug nach Bol sollte man sonntags machen, die Fähre von Jelsa fährt da erst mittags los. Am Gründonnerstag war die abendliche Prozession beeindruckend, das Kreuz wird über Nacht durch alle Dörfer getragen. Im Sommer wird es sicher voll sein, dennoch wird das Haus von Jurica, ruhig gelegen, Erholung und Abkühlung bieten. Vielen Dank!

We loved staying at Slaven’s place near Vela Luka. It was an amazing, tranquil location with no one else around. The best part was swimming in the crystal clear water right next to the house. Like other reviewers have said - we’d love to keep this special place secret. Korcula is a beautiful island and the old town is absolutely stunning. We loved that due to the islands remote location the island remains fairly quiet even in the height of summer. Slaven was an absolutely fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this location enough!

The villa was incredible! Fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the hot tub and the views from the terraces. The little village is right there. We only drove when we wanted to explore other nearby villages. Very close to Korcula. The hosts were extremely gracious to me and my family. If we ever return we will certainly stay here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Bol. The island is breathtaking. The unit was very clean and welcoming. Saša reached out to me before our trip to provide helpful information on how to get to Bol. Her daughter also greeted us at the ferry port, which was very appreciated. The location itself is within walking distance of many coffee shops, restaurants, a great winery and the beach! Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Bol and would love to visit again.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

Wir haben uns bei Ana sofort wohl gefühlt. Super Lage, kostenloser Parkplatz in der Nähe. Wohnung mit allem was man hat und gut geschützt. Ana kümmert sich sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Wir würden wieder kommen.

We had the most wonderful stay at Diana’s villa! The serenity of the place was absolutely enchanting. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the tranquility of the surroundings, and it was truly a breath of fresh air. The villa itself is a hidden gem – beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the villa is simply breathtaking, and you can’t help but feel rejuvenated by the natural beauty that surrounds you. Diana was an exceptional host, ensuring that every detail was taken care of to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality and attention to guests’ needs were truly remarkable. I can’t recommend Diana’s villa enough – it’s a place where you can relax, unwind, and create lasting memories. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back and experience this serene oasis once again.

Andrija is an amazing host. He helped us find his home and welcomed us with wine, recommended a great local restaurant - even calling them for us, and made sure to show us how various parts of the house worked. The home itself is situated on a beautiful cove. The weather did not cooperate to allow us to swim but our kids had fun playing around the yard and at the water's edge. This neighborhood is quiet and not much going on but an easy drive to towns with shops / restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was spotless and communication before and during our stay excellent. The morning coffee and evening drink on the balcony overlooking the town and port was lovely. As we arrived earlier than check in it was nice being told to come and drop bags and sit by the pool. As it turned out the room was ready which was great. On our last day we were again offered the opportunity to check out late as our ferry was until the afternoon. Highly recommended

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est au calme avec une belle vue sur la mer. Logement propre et bien équipé. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. Ana et sa famille sont super gentils et toujours disponibles si besoin.

Nikada se nisam osetila toliko na pravom mestu kao kod Vere. Okuklje je raj na zemlji u pravom smislu te reči. Mirno, čisto, sa galebovima, cvrkutom ptica i zelenilom. Vera je gospodja koja me je prihvatila kao svoje dete, pomogla u svakom smislu, savetom, kafom, kolačima, svojim prisustvom. Smeštaj je lepši nego na slikama, udoban, ima sve dostupno kao da sam kući, vrlo čisto. Terase koje gledaju na zaliv i na predivan vrt. Srećna sam i zahvalna što sam imala prilike da boravim ovde i nadam se skorasnjem povratku.

Zlatko war immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns im Zentrum von vela Luka getroffen und sind gemeinsam zur Unterkunft gefahren. Für uns wurden ein Obstkorb , Wasser,O-Saft und Milch bereitgestellt, das war sehr hilfreich, da wir am Sonntag Abend angereist sind

My four-member family spent a summer vacation (13 nights) staying at the cozy apartment Romantic on the lush island of Mljet. The apartment is located in the village of Korita, 4 km from Saplunara Beach, where we spent most of our time, thanks to the pine forest right next to the beach—no need for a sun umbrella at all. The apartment is clean and spacious, with a kitchen equipped with all the necessary dishes for a comfortable stay. The host family is pleasant and always ready to help with tips, offering the most delicious fish meals made from fresh fish caught and prepared by Šime’s wife, Kristina. Their daughter, Petra, also made our stay memorable. During our stay, we attended several events, including Wine Night, International Bat Night, a concert by Goran Karan, and a harp concert in a church. We will definitely repeat this adventure!

I'll be dreaming of Mrčara for the rest of my life. This place is what resorts try to be. You'll likely be taking every mode of transportation to get here, from your flight, to a car or bus, onto a ferry, finally a smaller dingy—it's worth the journey. The island itself is beautiful, the house nicer than the description, the water clearer than your imagination. But truly, Kreso and Tanya are wonderful hosts, creating an environment for a *REAL* vacation. (Love Denis & the dogs.) Breakfast & dinner are ready at set times, so the only thing to do in between is play. You play until dinner is ready. You don't even order, everything is taken care of for you. One moment you're kayaking in an old submarine hideout, then (after showering and drying off) you sit down on a cushion for dinner at 6, and then chat with other guests till 1 or 2 am. The restaurant seats 8, perhaps the most exclusive in the world! Three nights is about the shortest you'd want to stay, plan for more if you can.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean and exceeded our expectations. The stunning view from the balcony was a highlight—we could’ve spent all day just enjoying it. Our host Pavica was incredibly kind and helpful, even upgrading us to a larger apartment upon arrival, which made our stay even more comfortable. She also shared great local tips on sights and hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. To top it all off, she gave us a thoughtful small parting gift, which was such a lovely gesture. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

I had a fantastic time with family. Our kids loved the private beach. Kids loved the beach so much that they did not allow us to explore anything else in the island. As we went there before the actual season starts, not much to do in the island- so recommendation is to plan a trip during the season. Overall- we had a great vacation.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte, einfach genial. Das Einzige, was man nicht hat, ist die Mobilität in die stadt, nur mit eigenem Auto oder Taxi erreichbar. Aber sonst nahezu Perfekt!

Sandra is an amazing host. Our flight was seriously delayed meaning we had to take a ferry to the other side of the island. Not only did Sandra organise a taxi to pick us up, she also waited up past 1am to greet us at the villa. She also got up at 6am on departure date to run us down to the ferry. She did so much to make us feel welcome and was always on hand to help and provide information. Villa Lemo is beautifully clean and tidy, situated just 10 minutes walk from the wonderful harbour area of Bol. 5-star from start to finish.

le séjour était super, le lieu est vraiment magnifique dans un lieu qui appelle au ressourcement. l'hôte sur place est très gentille et aux petits soins de tous. je recommande vivement a tous ceux qui souhaitent prendre un peu de temps au calme et dans la nature.

fantastic stay at Bebas place in Stollac. Apartment was lovely with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. amazingly well kept garden and pool area. a great location for visiting the town and nearby areas. nice walking routes from the house. thoroughly recommend xx

It’s a really nice house, light and with plenty of space. The pool is lovely. It is two separate apartments which isnt obvious from the details but two kitchens, shower rooms in both so lots of space. The village is close, Korcula is accessible by bus/cab, a good beach is 20 minutes walk away. Stjepan was very responsive to any questions.

Piękne i spokojne miejsce, cisza i bezpieczeństwo. Nocą piękne widoki nieba oraz sen na tarasie. Dobre miejsce wypadowe na zwiedzanie wyspy. Posiadłość spełniła nasze oczekiwania. Dziękujemy Fani.

Hele mooi en rustige plek huis is zo warm ingericht we vonden het zoo leuk netjes schoon we hebben erg genoten en meneer mili ook zo vriendelijk en aardig.

schöne, ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit sehr schönem Ausblick. Das Haus ist sehr gut gepflegt und alles ist sauber und in Ordnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt und wir bekamen frische Brötchen vom Vermieter geliefert. Den Strand ereichst du zu Fuss in ca 10-15 min. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen, Kroation ist traumhaft schön, und dieses Haus ist sehr landestypisch und wundwevoll.
