Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

It sits on its own in its own field & if you enjoy the countryside, quietness, big skies, starry moonlit nights, wildlife, you will love it here. It has oak floors, comfy double bed, chairs, table, fridge, microwv, nespresso coffee, kettle, toaster, electric pan, airfr, woodburner, en-suite shower & toilet, Netflix TV, WIFI, Alexa. As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

Ben View Cottage: Peaceful Trossachs Retreat

Ben View cottage in the Trossachs National Park is a cosy and comfortable base from which to explore the area. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Brig O’Turk, it is nestled between two lochs and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area and a separate bathroom. The cottage has good WiFi. Dogs are very welcome. The area is especially wonderful for walkers, wild swimmers and cyclists. Next to the cottage is a small garden with views of Ben Venue.
