Holiday rentals with lake access in Praia de Mira

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Our expectations of the House of Saudade were very high in the beginning and yet they were totally exceeded in all respects. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, the rooms and the living room are spacious, the kitchen has all the necessary equipment but what truly fascinated us were the exteriors. The entire outdoor space is truly paradisiac, with no words that do it justice. Every day we dive in the river, we made barbecues, sunbathe on the hammocks and on the lounge chairs, made walks along the numerous trails and we still took a boat ride. We were 6 adults and we all agreed that this was one of the most beautiful locations we know. All contact with Cláudio was fast, cordial and effective. We highly recommend the Casa da Saudade and we count on repeating the experience, without any doubt.

My stay was just what I needed: a couple of peaceful days in the pristine mountains of Portugal. Very well, equipped kitchen, very comfy bed and nice linens …the host left me some vegetables and fruit from garden, which was amazing. A couple of stunning fireplaces in the house that I used every night Just enjoyable. Thank you.

This place was so magical. A big group of us came to stay for a half marathon in Aveiro and it was the perfect weekend - the pool was fabulous, the pond was so meditative, the sunrises were beautiful. The rooms were all super comfortable (3 of them en-suites plus additional shared bathrooms) and the kitchen was great to cook in. We were going to have lunch in Aveiro after the race but decided to head back to chill by the pool and have a bbq because it’s such a relaxing place. Plenty of space for everyone. We even had to stay an extra night because of the nationwide blackout and João and his family were so kind and accommodating - in the end we were so grateful we got to spend an extra night in this wonderful place! Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to come back in future.

Short stay to visit friends nearby. Marvelous private house. All brand new and clean. Great arrival and reception. Verry friendly tour by owner and a beautyful welcome table prepared with wine, fruit, jam, cake etc. Bottles of water in every bedroom, we felt right at home. Private parking behind the gate, lots of space for multiple cars. Beautifull views from the terraces around the house and a nice covered sitting area with small barbecue and plenty space. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

It was extraordinary! The kids really loved their stay thanks to all the care for them in the accommodation. Despite the rain, no one got bored! The place is beautiful, quiet place and so close to the city and attractions. We loved the best place to stay to date with kids.

Paradise! a haven of peace, surrounded by the river, nature. An absolutely beautiful and comfortable home. We really refreshed ourselves and our 3-day stay at Paula's was our best experience in Portugal. The surroundings are splendid: the small shale villages, the countryside, Coimbra, the houses of the surrounding villages, the gardens. We plan to come back one day, it's a house that creates memories!

The space is in a great location. Everything was perfect.

The apartment was so cozy, we were grateful for the little local treats that were left for us it was such a nice touch. The apartment was clean and had a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom windows. The small town was quaint and we enjoyed immensely walking around trying all the amazing restaurants and enjoying the beach. My family and I can’t wait to visit this amazing place again soon!!! Spacious apartment, very very well-equipped. We feel welcomed by the decorative touches and touches (small slippers await you at the entrance). The host is available to meet expectations. Very professional rental. Only small point to improve, the bedding of the king size bed, otherwise everything else is perfect.

Great 2 days in this beautiful home. Everything was perfect and great location. There was all around restaurants, butchers, pastries, sandy beach behind and in front the view of the water canal. I felt at home in the apartment . There was a beautiful luminost and it was very well-equipped. I will definitely return to Costa Nova. Thank you for everything Carlos.

Very quiet apartment, total silence, impeccable cleaning the very comfortable bed which makes it easy and very much the rest. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the baths that is done quietly by the river, communication was easy and quick, I highly recommend staying in this dwelling.

8 of us had an amazing week at Ria Surf House. The pool area was perfect for us adults and kids! Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Fab meals at the snack bar and Casa das Enguias. We didn’t have a car but Mariana put us in touch with a lovely local taxi driver who ensured we could get around when not walking. Also took the train to Porto and Aveiro, great days out. The beach was amazing - a walk through a forest to get there - a wild and remote feel. Many thanks!

Staying with Jorge was a very different experience. It's a historic place and in an amazing location. Both the building has its physical structure with these very unique characteristics linked to the history of Condexa and his lifestyle, as well as being in front of a historical area with more than 2,000 years made by the Romans gives a totally different air for the lodging. Not to mention that the location is perfect for those who will use a base to rotate the region of Coimbra, Coninbriga, Pombal and others in the surrounding area. Countryside climate with easy access, excellent location and a good structure for a great stay , as well as easy and responsive communication with Jorge. Thanks for our hosting. ALOHA!

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. Very kind owner. Located in rural area, on the edge of Ria Aveiro. Pleasant pedestrian and cycling trail 2 steps away. On the shoreline of the lagoon. The city of Aveiro and the ocean beaches 15 minutes' drive away. Really great house.

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

The couple of the farm was incredibly welcoming and nice. They baked two cakes for us during our stay, out of hospitality. In addition, they helped us with all our questions despite their somewhat flawed English. They also gave us free fresh bread from the bakery. The rooms in the house themselves were full of comforts and incredibly clean. The farm is also incredibly large, so there is no lack of space. I can recommend this Airbnb to everyone, we will definitely be back!
