“I happen to be a super host myself so I know what to expect and Kathleen’s home and hospitality is the reason why she was given the accolades of a super host. Everything she described in her listing was 100% accurate however you can’t really tell how special this place is until you actually stay there the house was warm and cozy with all the proper amenities it was on a beautiful sprawling property that you could hike around the property and it feels like you’re in another world. It was very close to the ski mountain as well as good restaurants and very easy to get to with just a couple turns off of some main roads. Although she allows pets in this home which is one of the reasons why we picked it you could never tell that She allows pets as there is no signs of any animals in the house at all which is fantastic because I hate houses that smell like animals even though I have multiple dogs. And the cows and horses adjacent to the property or an extra special treat that only for my dog but for the kids as well we hope to stay here again someday soon thank you again Kathleen for a great experience at a very reasonable rate.”

“Spent a few days at the Elsbree House with some friends to celebrate my wedding! Everyone was appreciative of the house's character and charm. The owners have done such an amazing job at preserving the history of this house. Rafael was a wonderful virtual host, responding promptly and providing local recommendations! In between all the festivities, we cooked both in the spacious kitchen and on the outdoor charcoal grill, and got a chance to enjoy the surrounding nature (check out Vroman's Nose in Middleburgh, and Rensselaerville Falls/Huyck Preserve) as well as the Livingstonville flea market. Don't miss out on this historic home and all the beauty in and around it! Thanks, Rafael!”
Quaint and cozy cabin sitting on 7 acres with large Koi pond and pergola. You can enjoy wildlife sightings anytime of the day and spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains!
“Lucy & Mike's place was an absolute steal. We booked barely 12 hours in advance of our stay, and they were incredibly generous with both their rate of and amount of communication. The place itself is gorgeous, exactly as advertised. The property is huge and makes for a mini adventure itself. We had a car with us, so it made things like grocery shopping and accessing hiking very simple. Their place has tons of nature and privacy with the right touch of modern amenities (up to a dishwasher!). The water source is from a well, and it tastes....exactly like water. Delicious. Wifi is touch-and-go as they mention, but it's really not what you should be wanting among all the quietude. We lacked absolutely nothing. We'll definitely book again soon. Thank you again, Lucy & Mike!!”
