Cottage holiday rentals in Quaker Lake

My group of 5 friends had such a lovely time here for the weekend— the setting was so nice and peaceful (don’t know much about the area— we planned to stay in together all weekend); we especially loved the enclosed porch looking out on the river and the porch and hot tub! The house was great and spacious, with lots of special touches. Great stay!

This was our first family getaway since having our baby. We were so nervous being away from conveniences at home with a 1 year old. Angie was an amazing host! Great communication prior to booking - through check out. The house was so clean, stocked with anything needed for bathroom/ kitchen! They set out a welcoming gift basket with goodies for us and even a toy for my son- which he loved and played with our entire stay! They also had a travel size of anything in case u forgot something. Plenty of towels for showers, the babys bath, and hot tub. Robes!We received a lot of rain during our stay so the hot tub was great located under the porch with a covered roof and lights! The wifi was perfect-no connection issues which is necessary for our baby camera/owlet system. The washer/dryer was perfect before heading home. She even babyproofed the kitchen cabinets, provided a high chair, and corner covers. Fishing/grilling/games! We only wished there was more sand to fish bc of baby BUT 10/10!

This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing weekend of relaxation! Everything was absolutely perfect! Catriona did a fantastic job with being super friendly and responsive. She made sure that the chapel was shoveled on the day we checked in and the day we checked out, due to the snow we had the evening before. Watching the snow fall from the hot tub on the deck was so romantic! We will definitely be spending a lot more weekends there! ❤️

Pete and Sandy were such amazing hosts! My boyfriend and I stayed at their place for the weekend for our 8th anniversary. I had briefly mentioned this to them when messaging about the trip. To my surprise, when we got there, there was a bottle of wine and a sweet card from them waiting for us in the fridge! They truly went above and beyond for us and their house is incredible! We enjoyed a beautiful weekend lakeside taking in the incredible views, soaking in the hot tub, and relaxing in the sauna! It was truly an amazing experience!

I absolutely love Kevin and Amy’s place was hands-down. The best Airbnb I ever been to everything was so clean. And I felt right at home from the moment that I walked in. There was so many helpful things they weren’t even mentioned in the description. Like heaters outside by the hot tub. Different seasonings in the fridge in the cabinets. All of the dishwasher was very clean and there was an abundance of it. Me my girlfriend and my dog had a great time. We are even thinking about booking again soon this place is definitely recommended. We love it.

I loved the place, the host has very good and detailed communication with the guests. I can't wait to come back again.

Tia's place is amazing, the waterfall is really in your backyard, the house was clean, comfortable and functional, with more stuff in the kitchen than i'm used to at most airbnbs. The backyard is the best part, you can go down to the bottom of the fall, cross over the stream and walk down next to the stream with more waterfalls, just follow the instructions that are on the fridge. The town is very close, you can find everything you need within a 10 minutes drive, but the house itself is more on the secluded side, it does have visible neighboring houses but it was very private and quiet and we have not seen anyone around. There are a million waterfalls in the area, and Ithaca apparently has an obsession with art, there is street art everywhere, we spent hours driving around to find the different murals, statues and painted electrical boxes on the corners. Also lots of good restaurants. So overall it is an absolutely great choice to stay at Tia's place, you get a lot for your money.

Probably the best host I’ve ever dealt with; proactive and responsive. The place was great for a weekend with my family, really quiet and peaceful. Cozy place for a winter weekend.

We came to get away and be with nature and it is exactly what we got! The house is so cozy and warm. The little "touches" in decorating were spot on. The kitchen is well stocked and all of the extras...coffee, creamer, garbage bags, and paper towels were available too. Becky is very responsive and accommodating. It is VERY quiet, which we loved. We had family come visit us and we hosted them. Outside of bringing our own food, everything else was there. Including a charcuterie board! <3 We were able to bring our small dogs and had plenty of space to walk them. The outdoor amenities were great too! There was a grill, a fire pit, outdoor string lights. I could go on forever. To sum it up...it was perfect! More than once we said, this is a really nice house. Highly recommend. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

I stayed at Sue's cottage for a small getaway with my gf and her place is gem! Rural NE PA was exactly the atmosphere we were looking for - peaceful, quiet and beautiful! Our host was very communicative and I personally loved the detail instructions she left for us. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, rural, and peaceful place to wind down.

This was our third stay at Mary’s place and once again enjoyed staying here while visiting our daughter who attends Ithaca College. Highly recommend this cozy, clean and comfortable place when visiting Ithaca!!

We recently stayed at Ron's place, and it was an excellent experience! The house was beautiful, clean, well decorated, and equipped with everything we needed from a fully stocked kitchen to a grill and fire pit perfect for evening gatherings. The location was unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the lake right from the house. The host was responsive and friendly to make sure our stay was perfect. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. We loved the scenic balcony view and the cozy living area. It truly felt like a home away from home. Since it was winter we could not enjoy the boating or fishing. We’d definitely stay here again in summer! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cozy cottage right on the water! The fall foliage was beautiful! Our family enjoyed kayaking, fire and s’mores by the water, feeding the fish, building puzzles, listening to the church bells, walks down the road... Quaker lake was a great lake nearby to walk around. Russell Farms was a great place to go apple picking and pick up groceries for the week. Cider donuts were delicious!! 🤤 Julie was quick to reply and gave great recommendations!

We had a great stay at Jennifer and Deans cabin! It was very cozy and warm in the snowy weather, and Chloe gave us a great tour of the farm animals:) Jennifer was very kind in providing a bottle of wine and some local goodies, and we especially loved the cozy loft, comfortable couch and bathtub to relax in.

This cozy cabin was a great setting for a weekend retreat. There is a plenty of space outside to spend the day exploring, in addition to other hiking opportunities a short drive away. And at the end of the day, the comfy couch in front of the wood stove is exactly where we wanted to be. Thank you Ann for being so hospitable and friendly.

This place was wonderful—cozy, clean, great location, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen. Felt right at home. Patty was awesome in communication with everything from start to finish!

Our stay was comfortable and quiet-really lovely to be right on the lake. We went kayaking and had dinner at a local farm to table restaurant. Also sat in front of an outside fire at night to watch the stars. Linda's place is cute and tidy and had all we needed. A great stay!

Tracy’s property is stunning. You can simply sit out and enjoy the views but we took advantage of the lake and spent almost the whole day out on kayaks. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the grill and the huge tv in the living room. Tracy was helpful and attentive. We can’t wait to visit again!
