Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

The Starlite at Ruakh is a private luxury geodesic dome tucked along the edge of the woods on our 87-acre farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Dad's Place is located 1/2 mile from Clinch Valley Medical Center and right on the Spearhead Jawbone Trailhead, hit the trails when you leave the driveway for hours of riding fun, 1/2 mile to restaurants, shopping and more, 10 minute drive to Broadway Cinema and Walmart. Easily accessible from 4 lane highway. Dad's place sleeps 4 with 1 full size bed and a pull out sleeper sofa, 40 in smart TV in main living area.

Overlooking the Clinch River is our special cabin on the farm. It is so peaceful that we have named it Journey. This facility is TOTALLY OFF THE GRID since it is located between the Clinch River and the N&W Railroad with no access to public utilities although you may use all of the amenities in the Cabin!
