“Darryl and Deb exceeded our expectations. Darryl picked us up from the airport (even during a busy traffic time!) and then let us drop our things and took us straight to the grocery store. It was so nice to get settled in right away and to have them available for local questions. They were fantastic with our 8 year old and even remembered him asking about a view of the island- he took us to a great spot on our way back to the airport ☺️. I wondered if the reviews were too good to be true, but they followed through on everything written 🙌. The location was super convenient as it’s just steps from the beach, snorkeling and the beach bar/restaurant. The fish tacos at the beach bar are great too. You won’t regret this stay.”
This newly finished studio apartment is perched above Red Hook with commanding views over the Harbor and extending all the way to St. John. The studio has a lovely king bed that gazes out to the STUNNING view, a full kitchen, eat-in dining table, dish network television and wifi. It sits above the center of RedHook and less than a half mile from the St. John ferry.
“Before getting into the bnb, if you stay here and don't take advantage of Pat's sailboat day trip you are MISSING out!! Such a great experience! The bnb was exactly as described, it had everything you could need for the place and the beach! And, the view cannot be beat! Like others have already said it is on a hill, and although it was walkable for my husband and I, it may not be for all. If you don't typically hike or walk up hills I'd rent a car. However, everything else more than makes up for the hill (which we actually grew to love). The place is extremely close to Red Hook which has amazing food, the ferry port and easily accessible taxis. I cannot say enough great things about this place!! Jump on it if it is available for your dates!!”

“We had a wonderful time at Sapphire Beach! Tommy was so flexible and quick to respond as we had to make changes to our trip more than once due to flight cancellations related to Covid-19. We weren't sure we'd be able to visit at all and are so glad it worked out. What a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors after 3 months of quarantine! The unit itself is perfect and had everything we needed to make our own breakfasts and prep picnic lunches (we could have easily made dinner in the unit or used one of the grills, but it's more fun to go out!). Sapphire Beach was one of our favorite beaches and is just a quick walk down a steep hill (you can also drive down if needed). The beach is gorgeous and had some excellent snorkeling along the right side. The beach bar has reopened and their fish tacos were our favorite meal during our trip! Sudi's (the restaurant by the pool) is also open. We didn't go there, but they said they were offering a portion of their menu. The proximity to Red Hook (3 minute drive) was perfect as we took the car ferry over to St. John for 2 days during our trip (totally worth the $50 round trip as we were able to snorkel so many spots on St. John during those 2 days). We also loved Secret Harbor (only a 5 minute drive from the condo) for its snorkeling, beach and food, and their ahi tuna nachos were another favorite! In terms of Covid-19, we found that some places are still closed, but plenty was open for us to find a variety of places to eat. Hours have been adjusted at many places, so check on that before heading somewhere. Every establishment offered hand sanitizer and required masks - we felt completely safe the entire time. We feel so fortunate that we were able to enjoy the USVI during a time when the cruse ships aren't back yet - we had the beaches to ourselves! If you have the opportunity to visit this summer while crowds are low, don't pass it up. It's safe, beautiful, and a great way to support their economy which relies so heavily on tourism.”
