A small house on the shore of Lake Pielisjoki. 12 km to the centre of Joensuu and 7 km to the Kontiolahti biathlon stadium. In the courtyard, there is a wood-fired barrel sauna with a landscape window and a hot tub. You can take a dip from your own jetty! Use of the hot tub for the duration of the stay costs 40 euros. There is a tennis/small game court in the yard. This place is perfect for both relaxation and active holidays – there are skiing and outdoor trails nearby. If necessary, ask about the possibility of an extra bed!

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Although our small, modern and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential courtyard, here you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views. There are excellent fishing opportunities on the lake. What's more, the location is ideal for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
