This is a very spacious studio aprt in the heart of the old town and marina/promenade. The apartment is very clean. You are in walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping, and beaches are a few min walk. This place is a winner!

We stayed in Zoi's apartment for 1 week. She was always available and always responded to messages. When we arrived late at night, she had put pizzas and ice cream in the freezer for us. For our breakfast, there was also everything we needed! The apartment has direct access to the beach and the old town of Rethymno is a 20/25-minute walk. Really a great place to stay with ocean views 🥰 always happy to come back!!

We spent a week in George's apartment with a group of four friends. The apartment is located in a perfect setting to explore the island of Crete. However, as it is located on a beautiful beach and also offers a pool as well as a number of other leisure opportunities (e.g. table tennis, beach volleyball court), we barely felt the need to leave the place. The apartment itself was super clean and perfectly equipped for self-catering. In the evenings, we enjoyed wonderful sunsets from the spacious balcony in front of a beautiful sea and mountain backdrop. We often completed our evenings by visiting one of the three tavernas in walking distance offering authentic and affordable Greek cuisine with a panoramic view of the beach. During our stay, George was personally available for any kind of questions at any time. We were also deeply impressed by George's hospitality and his obliging manner. Once again, thank you very much George for the wonderful time. We will definitely come back as soon as we go to Crete again!

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

An amazing stay at a gorgeous house on the beach - a pleasure to watch your kids play in the sand while you sit on a private terrace just above. Restaurants (and the people running them) were absolutely wonderful. Its a small area, detached from the city and large tourism projects elsewhere. But Marathi Beach has everything you need for a very relaxing and enjoyable visit. My only comment is that the home lacks an indoor livingroom / dining area. It didn't bother us as we happily ate at the covered outdoor table or sat by the beach in the covered loungers - but this may not suit someone looking to relax inside in the late evening

The Airbnb was everything we imagined and more! the view with the little private enterance to the sea Is Amazing, and one of the best spots to snorkel that we found in the area. Everything was clean, with plenty of towels and sheets as well as extras for summer vacation such as beach towels and snorkeling masks. the kitchen Is well equipt and comfortable for cooking, with wine and fruits gifted at our arrival. Olga and her father were very kind and helpful with everything, we absolutely loved our vacation and hope to come back.

We spent a week at Nikos place and really liked it. For us (Family with daughter turning 4) it was perfect and exactly what we have hoped for. It's clean, uncomplicated, charming and you have a big terrace and the beach right in front of you. The Place is located in a calmer and less touristic part on the coast but everything we needed was within reach: Small shops and restaurants are in walking distance, or available by bus. If you want to have more selection or make a day-trip, you can take the bus to Chania or a taxi (or longer walk) to Agios Marina. It's even possible to rent boats on the harbour for an hour or half a day, which our daughter really liked. We can fully recommend this place and hope to return sometimes again!

Menelaos is very-very good and super host! I highly recommend him to deal with. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is situated in a small village 30 minutes from Rethymno (by car). You can find all necessary things in the house. Menelaos and his wife met us when we arrived. Sweet cookies and still water were the pleasant surprises for us. Few beaches are in 30-50 meters away from the house. The host kindly left 4 big beach towels. Many restaurants are few steps from the house, we loved every that we visited. The restaurant close to the beach have very big portions so be careful if you order much 😅 3 supermarkets are in 50-150 meters away from the house so there no problem to get anything you need and they are closed late. I would say this trip was one of the most pleasant and comfortable of all my years with Airbnb. Big thanks to Menelaos and his wife!

I can see why Katerina is a super host -everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! We felt very comfortable in her place! We found it very convenient and yet peaceful! The view from her balcony was amazing! Katerina was very responsive and pro active ! I would stay here again if I were to visit Chania in the future!

Chrisi is an excellent hostess! She was always helpful and always in a good mood and friendly. The apartment is perfect for excursions, but also perfect for the beach around the corner. In addition, there is everything you need to live and there is even a small bottle of Raki in the fridge to welcome you. We will come back here again!! Brigitte and Peter

We stayed at Nikos's place from 10/6-10/12. The sea view was great. In the evening we heard the sea rushing. 2 minutes to the beach. The water was clear and pleasant 25°. There were not many people on the beach, a pleasant atmosphere. The island offers many attractions, the old town of Rethymno is worth a trip alone. The prices are ok. The Greeks are nice and hospitable. Nikos was on hand when we had an issue. Very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place👍. Regine and Heike from Germany🙋🙋.

Fotis and Amalia are the nicest people. Their place was well provisioned, even with the best raki in the world. The view was spectacular. We wish we could have stayed there longer!

Amazing host, a small apartment in the perfect quiet location just next to a small beach. Love it a lot as it was not touristic. And there is free parking next to it which is even better. Highly recommended!!!! Definitely will come back to Crete <3

Very nice place in a great location right on the beach promenade. Tastefully decorated, dishwasher and washing machine are also provided. Two balconies in the east and west, you always had shade or sun. Maria was super nice, expected us and instructed us. Thanks for the great stay!

We spent very nice four days here. The view is really beautiful and in 10 minutes you can walk to a supermarket. In front of the house you could park well.

This place cannot be faulted, excellent host, we wanted for nothing. Great location for centre of town, easy walking distance to amenities, would come back here again without hesitation
