In winter, make the most of the incredible views over the valley from the hot tub, in summer these views can be enjoyed while playing a game of Petanque on the private pitch. The space is able to accommodate up to 8 adults (plus 1 child). Chalet Aix is situated in a quiet village, five minutes' drive from Morzine, with some of the most breathtaking views of the surrounding areas. There is private parking outside of the chalet (for a maximum of three vehicles). The chalet was built in 2016, and is decorated in a modern Alpine style, to create a luxurious but comfortable feel. On the ground floor of the chalet, guests will find a spacious entrance (with plenty of room to put on your ski boots, and with secure ski storage and boot warmers). There is also a cloakroom. To the left of this entrance, you will find the first luxurious bedroom, with twin beds (which can be made into a large double) and a double sofa bed. This room is the largest, and would work well as a family suite. The en-suite bathroom features a shower. The chalet can sleep up to ten people, including two children. We accept bookings with a maximum of eight adults. The first floor is made up of a stunning open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, offering incredible views of the mountains. This area offers everything you need to make yourselves at home during your stay (including two ovens, and coffee making facilities). The doors lead out to a balcony, terrace, and impressively situated hot-tub. On the second floor of the building, you will find the remaining three bedrooms. The first of which is a queen sized double, with its own private bathroom opposite, featuring a bathtub. The next bedroom is a twin room, with an en-suite shower room (this room can also be made up as a double). The final bedroom is a twin room (which can also be made up as a double) with luxurious double sink and bathtub. A midweek changeover upon request is available, there is an additional cost for this service. Chalet Aix offers self-catered holidays, but your hosts are village residents who are available to help you with your needs. The chalet has a lockbox to make your arrival quick and easy, but your hosts will always endeavour to greet you for your arrival or meet you during your visit. We do also offer various services to make your stay more comfortable: we can pre-order and collect lift passes for you (at no extra cost to you), help with equipment hire, and arrange transfers. The chalet is on a steep road in a quiet village, 5 minutes' drive from lively Morzine, between Essert Romand and La Côte D’Arbroz, both of which boast a beautiful church and a bar/restaurant. There’s easy access to Avoriaz, Les Gets, and Mont Chery. We strongly suggest that holiday-makers visiting the chalet have their own transport. The chalet is located at the heart of the region with easy access to Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, and Mont Chery, having your own vehicle will allow you to make the most of all of these areas. The chalet is located on a steep road in a ski resort: we strongly suggest that guests travelling to us in the winter ensure that their vehicle has the appropriate tyres and equipment. Snow chains are a legal requirement. If snowing, a communal snow plough will arrive in the morning, but there may be times where you will have to clear snow. Also, please note that the chalet is located in a ski and summer resort, and so the availability of local amenities may vary depending upon the season. The modern and functional furnishings are complemented by some heirloom furnishings: a perfect combination. The apartment has been recently renovated, and has pleasant and contemporary decor, combining modern furnishings and lighting with some heirloom pieces. It is a two-room apartment consisting of a living room with kitchenette, double sofa bed, table for breakfast or to use as a computer workstation, double bedroom with 160 cm double bed, bathroom with shower and window, and connection for possible washing machine if required for long stays. The apartment has a balcony on the rear of the house, equipped with a small table and two chairs, which allows smokers and non-smokers to have a sheltered but outdoor place. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove top, and sink. There is no dishwasher. Guests may use the entire apartment, the balcony and upon specific request, a private parking space in the condominium parking lot, if available. I will greet guests when they arrive and I will always be available on my cell phone. I will be happy to provide all the useful information necessary for a pleasant stay in Turin. I also live with my family right next to the two-room apartment made available for guests, so there will be no shortage of opportunities to get to know each other. The property is located in Precollina, near the Po River, in a very green residential area, a 10-minute walk from Porta Nuova, Gran Madre and Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The area has bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as rowing and tennis clubs. If you love walking or cycling, from the house you can easily reach various areas of the center of Turin; Piazza San Carlo, Via Roma, Via Lagrange, Piazza Castello, Piazza Vittorio, Via Po and Piazza Gran Madre, Porta Nuova station. There are a few bus lines within walking distance of the apartment on Corso Fiume – lines 52 and 66. Taking 66 will lead you to Gran Madre and from there by streetcar no. 13 to Piazza Castello, the heart of the city. For routes in the hills, there are lines 70 and 73. If you prefer to get around by car, to go downtown, it is advisable to use the central parking lots of Piazza Vittorio, Bodoni or Valdo Fusi or the parking lot below Via Roma.
